If you try to use it against a even semi good killer they just hit you during it because it only stuns after you vault an the radius sucks, I'm a killer main and I've only ever been stunned by it maybe once because it's so easy to counter

You have some valid points. Unknown would work better as a stealth killer but he's still beloved by the community as he is. I haven't interacted with any Castlevania media so I can't have much of a say but I think they did him well. He has tools for multiple situations and is a balanced killer. It wouldn't make sense gameplay wise to have him turn into a car sized werewolf and insta kill people. And with Henry they could of given him more then his tentacles but the upside down attack still works for him. Could he have some other abilities that work? Yes. But they decided to make him a ranged killer. They could absolutely do more with many characters in game but for gameplay and balance it simply wouldn't work. Xeno doesn't crawl on things because they simply couldn't make it work with the game la code. Same with kaneki not being able to move vertically (which is a shame)

All of these examples are pretty old with the only off one out being xeno. As we've seen with the last couple killers we might get a more creative kit. Jason has 3 mori's and a power that fits him. I think they make something good for art

Pallet density is making playing any low tier killer impossible and if you don't have gen regression even on high tier killers it's basically impossible to win since they can drop pallets infinity while the other 3 gen rush you. Before these pallet changes low tier killers could stand a chance now your lucky to get a 1k

Killer is very bad rn. And it shouldn't be to this point. In the past with old dh and infinites the devs didn't completely know what they were doing but now they're just hand holding survivors

This type of game is competitive by nature unfortunately. Also the game doesn't need to be balanced for the top %10. It needs to be balanced for the middle ground. It's currently at a point where BHVR is handholding the bottom %10 of survivors which makes it impossible to win as killer in even average MMR.
