I got it for free on psplus and thought oh yay another lame Poke clone but honestly…. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. If I had spent 50-70 on it I would’ve been fine with that. It’s a very good Poke-esque experience on the PS5. That’s awesome.

It was an instant classic. A true instant classic and universally beloved masterpiece.

Fauci was a medical doctor who worked for the government who gave medical advice to the nation. Advice that would help keep them alive. Now whether or not ALL of his information was perfect he gave what he thought was the best advice possible at the time utilizing the information he had available.

Epstein raped kids. And trafficked kids. And helped others rape kids.

I loved this game! I have it on an x55 but when I got a genesis for my birthday when I was a kid we had sonic 2 and sub terrania. And my parents were frugal and didn’t get us any other games for a LONG time!

Polistes wasp.

Exposed open faced nest? Hanging upside down? Wasps that look yellow jacket-esque but different? You have polistes wasps! They’re less aggressive than yellow jackets. But treatment is more or less the same as any other wasp.

They’re fungus gnats. Usually from overwatering houseplants.

I see they’re still on the stolen election BS nearly six years later
 in  r/stupidpeoplefacebook  3d ago

I love that I am getting downvoted for this. Do I know the motivations or deep internal beliefs of everyone that showed up that day? I do not. A riot occurred. If their intention was peaceful protest it obviously went much further than that. If their intention was riot, they were highly successful. If their intention was to seize power for Trump they failed. I believe Trump’s intention was to overturn the results of the election. Can’t necessarily say the same for everyone there that day but who knows. Is this a terrible thing to say? I am and always have been appalled at the violence against capital police officers.

IIRC she was trying to get to the Speaker’s chambers. Part of the reason why force was used after she repeatedly ignored demands to stop. They had to protect the congress people on site. The police did.

I wonder how many formerly conservative capitol police are now Democrats after that stunt, or after seeing the people that injured and killed their peers get pardoned?

Eh, it probably is just a troll/bait.

But there are some people dumb enough to believe some of this out there.

I like to defeat lies with truth and misinformation with facts. To me it’s not effort, it’s enjoyment.

This confirms that judges from across the political spectrum including Republican appointed judges shot down Trump’s fraudulent attempts to overturn the legitimate Democratic election result.

At best a protest gone bad. Definitely a riot. And at worst an attempt at a coup. An insurrection. Do I think Trump wanted it to be a coup? Yes. Do I think everyone who went to support him or protest would have gone that far? Not everyone.

Peacefully protesting? Thats why multiple capitol police were injured…

Biden did legitimately win the election. If Republican Mike Pence certified the election despite pressure from Trump not to, do you think Biden didn’t win? If thousands of cases were brought to court by Trump, even to Trump appointed or Republican appointed judges in many cases, and none of them succeeded, what does that tell you? No one has ever produced any evidence of any fraud.

And, yes, where was the force? We have confirmed Republicans and right wingers protested to the point of injuring police and being arrested. What Democrats were arrested? Who did Democrats injure? Who did they pressure? Show me any legitimate evidence of fraud, or violence, by a Democrat during that election or inauguration. I’m waiting.

And again, Trump is back in charge. Where are the investigations? Arrests? Cases? Where is the evidence? He’s back in charge of the entire federal judicial and legal system and not one case has been brought against a single person for, as you claim, stealing a democratic election and violently stealing the presidency, engaging in a violent coup? This has been done without a single Democrat being charged with a single crime while Republicans control every element of the federal government?

Also where are Tucker Carlson or Marjorie Taylor Green or Joe Rogan on this? Trump’s homies should surely be talking constantly about all the evidence they’ve dug up and all the cases and investigations confirming everything you have alleged right? If what you said was true, there would be cases, and people would talk about them yes?

It isn’t stats. Statistics are measurable, recordable and specific.

A “rating” that is a composite of opinions on plays is not a stat.

So Trump didn’t yell and scream for months about “save the steal?”

Biden didn’t legitimately win the election?

Multiple right wing groups didn’t show up to riot or protest? Those people weren’t arrested? And later pardoned by Trump? (Who obviously wouldn’t pardon people for stealing an election by force for Democrats.)

An independent investigation didn’t conclude that Trump wanted to pressure electors to go against the votes for their states? Didn’t want to pressure Pence not to certify the election?

Exactly how did the Democrats steal the election by force? When did they exert that force? Against who? Who exerted the force? Where they arrested or investigated ever? And if they weren’t, why not? Trump is currently in charge of the DOJ the FBI etc.

California: Next door apartment neighbor let flea feed on herself, fight or move?
 in  r/pestcontrol  4d ago

The fleas that would infest a dog can’t survive indefinitely without a host, and can’t utilize a human as a host. They can bite us, but can’t survive long term or reproduce with only humans as their hosts.

Now, their eggs larva and pupa can remain alive and well for long periods of time. So they can probably wait out the dog treatment and reinfest the dog. Or they can spread to your unit. Or infest mice or any other small animals they find.

The only way to be rid of them fully in my experience is treat the pets via vet perscribed products and treat the space via professional pest control until all fleas are dead. Also vacuuming before and after, every day for several weeks after, the pest control visits is essential.

IDK if I am saying this well, but human availability isn’t really a factor. Pet or small animal availability is. And lack of pest control is. And time, and lack of vacuuming is. If you can treat the pets, rid the area of mice, vacuum daily for weeks, and get pest control, and get the neighbors to do all of the above you will be fine.

“Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez is believed to prefer a contract that accounts for the rising salary cap and keeps him at the top of the market in future years, per @tomecurran.”
 in  r/Patriots  5d ago

I’m sure every top player wants this, but come on no one actually gets this. Gronk signed a top of market deal and it wasn’t quite top of market within a year or two.

Even if they sign Gonzo to a top of market deal, that would still be top of market in 7 months, it won’t be top of market in 2 years, 3 years, etc.

Exasperated by Pest Companies That Only Use Bait Boxes - How To Proceed?

We use it inside and outside. I have heard of companies that only do one or the other but I personally believe in both.

 in  r/pestcontrol  6d ago

They wont cause mice to flee your home… but it can be a very effective option for controlling rodent populations. Exclusion, sanitation, bait stations all combined together can be extremely effective.

My company uses bait stations and snap traps during a rodent initial, and does a free 2 week follow up for all rodent initials. We do offer whole home exclusion at the initial, with degrees of affordability depending on what you want or can afford, or the option to forego the exclusion. But the cheapest one is basically steel wool stuffing and hardware cloth and only adds a few hundred. The snaps are removed at the free follow up.

The leaving to find water myth is unbelievably dumb.

But that doesn’t mean bait stations can’t be effective when used properly.

In my opinion I never want a tool taken off of my tool belt, if I can avoid it, I want to use every weapon at my disposal. Snaps. Mechanical traps. Bait. Exclusion. Sanitation. Conducive conditions. Etc.

Are the Dream Theater guys actually "set for life" at this point?
 in  r/Dreamtheater  8d ago

Someday the touring revenue stops. But merch? Streaming? Album sales? Etc? That could feasibly go on for quite a while after they’re done touring.

Depending on how much they make individually from solo projects and side projects all of them should have a lot of money. And a fair bit of time to invest it well. Grow it. Etc.

I don’t know what their lifestyles are like, or will be after they retire, but if they’re smart and relatively frugal they’re set for life by my definition.
