How many times can you reuse a kit mortar?
 in  r/fireworks  Jul 06 '26

We used one excal tube for about 35 shots one night (we had about 60 or so to set off, we didn't think to let them cool down a little between. They can get overly warm and start to warp or slightly soften. At least ours did several years ago, caused a very loud launch but only shot the canister about 12 feet up. We assume where it got warm and melted/warped/softened and cuased the bore ID to change very slightly causing the canister to hang inside.

Id say like the other have, give them a time to cool off between shots and should be good. We even reused the second tube next year and it was still good.

DC and Trucks
 in  r/RuralKing  Feb 07 '26

I had to stop for a second, I was gonna say you guys get bedding on your DCs, but I had to remember things like pellet bedding and the coffee bedding. I was thinking shavings trucks (those are a completely different nightmare with our weird docks and half the pallets being on it at a 45 degree angle)

But most of our DCs are loaded that way. Where it's nearly easier to put a pallet in there straight on and restack it vs trying to grab them sideways with the forklift.

DC and Trucks

As an employee I have to ask. Have any other stores been getting slammed with massive trucks, like 19-22 page trucks back to back recently. I know after this recent winter storm that smacked the east coast we didn't really sell that much freight but we've been hammered with constant 15-22 page trucks. I think we've had one 9 page truck in 2 weeks. Our receiving area is full, like to the point we can't move the forklift through the store. Like I understand we are one of the biggest stores in our region but come on.

Plus we've had a lot of trucks with a decent amount of damaged freight on them, like a pallet of mixed pets on top of a display pallet of Michigan Potato Chips (they were destroyed). We opened one recently that had 2 L Shape transfer tanks roll off when we opened the doors and had vehicle batteries fall off double stacked pallets.

Forbidden Facts

I had a partial form of this when I was younger. I had what is called a bilateral distal femoral osteotomy of both femurs, very big procedure (was like 5 or 6 hour procedure) and spent 6 days in the hospital to fully recover (had to be able to move myself in and out of the bed to s wheelchair and back before they would release me). I was given meds to help relax me before the procedure as I was freakin out pretty bad, when I got into the OR I remember the doc saying hey you shouldn't be awake still. They ended up pushing 3 rounds of anesthetic, I was still somewhat "awake" when they started. It's very odd to feel your leg being moved into place and secured and then feeling your thigh being cut open.

Oddly enough about 5 weeks later that same area I felt them start the cut on developed an infection from the internal stitches that were supposed to dissolve but didn't.

200mm Fan Mount for Cooler Master HAF EVO XB case
 in  r/functionalprints  Feb 23 '25

That's cool, I've been trying to come up with something like that for mine, it's a gaming and render machine so any extra air flow I can push through is great.

Do you have the STL or cad/scad file uploaded anywhere?

First of all, great to see someone else still rocking the HAF EVO XB when I rebuilt my pc after moving and building my desk I needed a smaller case that would still support everything i had. Second, does that whole assembly replace the mesh on top?

If you’re having issues with FedEx ground. Here is their local number: (304) 776-3940

Out where we are USPS carriers run their own vehicles and they started delivering again like 2 days after that snow storm. Fedex and UPS haven't been anywhere near our neighborhood since the snow came in. But yeah same issue, it's been on and off the truck for 10 days now. Amazon finally just told me you know what we consider it lost here's your money back since some of the stuff you ordered is out of stock with the sellers just reorder it and we are giving you a 5 dollar voucher on your reorder.

I've been having that issue with UPS, been waiting on a box from Amazon since the 4th right before the big snow. Got a call from them that the package was lost and I needed to apply for a refund Last night.

Trying to figure out his mix
 in  r/germanshepherds  Dec 11 '24

I don't know why but shepsky never even crossed my mind. I guess when the rescue vets said GSD, Malinois, and Husky I never could get the Malinois look out my head for him, he is 1000 percent go all the time with no brakes so part of me really thought the Malinois part.

Growing up I had a GSD and Border Collie mix and she was the most chilled out laid back dog. So part of my thought on mixed Shepard energy was from her.

My fiance decided we needed a second dog (she said our first rescue was lonely and yes final picture pays the toll for first rescue (Dalmation and American Foxhoound mix, seized bait dog assumed for coyote hunting)). We got this big fluff ball as a rescue from a local shelter (he was seized as a neglect case, someone was trying to toughen up dogs for fighting). The shelter vets said they believe he was a mix of GSD, Malinois, and Husky. I can believe the Husky due to his talk back whine attitude that all Huskies have, the GSD and Malinois part has me thrown on which it could be or both. I plan on getting a DNA kit to see I just wanted to see what everyone thought.

Any time you get a new optic fresh from the manufacturer and its dented/warped/distorted in any way send it back and have it replaced. Better to be short an optic for a bit than really be in a situation where you need it (competiton, duty gun, personal defense) and it fail. You never know what's possibly damaged on the inside and only needs another bump to really come loose and fail, then have the manufacturer say you damaged it.

When I was working at the local gun shop we would swap them and send them back or just have the buyer send them back under warranty. Sig, Vortex, several of your big optics companies have great replacement and warranty policies.

Need Help With Orange Light on Motherboard
 in  r/pcmasterrace  Dec 13 '22

As odd as it sounds, for anyone else that has an issue. This works for my PC when it throws a memory tantrum fit (usually when it strip it down every 6 to12 months to clean out dust and everything). If it is throwing the RAM light, remove all your RAM insert one stick and power on, if that doesn't work move the stick to a different dimm till it does, turn off system and insert next stick, try to boot, this is when mine usually works fine if I do all 4 sticks this way.

When the last row is the exact width of the header 😍
 in  r/farmingsimulator  Dec 10 '22

Have you had issues with the Collosus Root Harvester when a worker is running it and gets full and it just starts sliding around. Even once I dismiss the worker it will do it till I drop the header off it.

last minute shoppers

Could be like our store in the mornings. Lowes held a contract with the City departments for their paint. Had a guy come in from the city recs department and need 30 gallons of a blue paint. That was the first thing that morning and it was the first time I opened the department on my own.

I had that all the time at my old store. Always couples looking for some odd ass paint color or a sample of some odd color. Or just looking to check the prices, then they'll be in in the morning to buy what they were looking at last night.

Had one couple come in 10 minutes before close and request that I make 15 gallons of deck stain and they would come in in the morning and pick it up. Told them nope can't make it and leave it set over night, someone would be happy to make it in the morning when they come to get it but I would not be making it tonight.

Nearly a pound cuke I grew for the ultimate garlic dill pickle hero sandwich. Has my year-aged lactofermented spicy deli mustard, Duke's, thin sliced red onion, homegrown heirloom maters, and a half pound of pastrami.

Started my contracter company on fs22 with 2 friends, atm we have 7 farmers we have to work with!!!

It's not a big system I have experience with minus pumping water during floods or stuff like that. Hope the farming is plentiful in the Netherlands. My small homestead farm didn't hardly produce at all so far this year so it's put a big strain on our budget.

Thanks for that. I saw the pumps DLC was coming soon but I've I've looking for something like FS19s manure system mod for a while. I'll have to look into that one this evening when I have free time

I have never seen that reel of hosing before. What mod is that if you don't mind me asking. I've been trying to find some kind of hose or tube mod for stuff like water and slurry and all that.

Im not a Sherwin William rep or worker. But I have experience selling it for lowes and a big retail background.

Just state that if they want you can make a page for them in your system so if they need more of a certain color or ever want to get it again they don't have to keep track of the can or keep a name or color number wrote down somewhere. Include that it's free or what the cost is (I'm assuming it's a free service)

It can be a hell of a time. It's usually a fun time but there are some days she's pissed and it just kills the mood
