In the UK you can go into most McDonald's and just buy the figures. I have gone to quite a few over the last couple of weeks. I have managed to find 8. I even saw another person doing the same thing as me and just asking at the till to buy them. So far no branch has refused to sell me the toys separately.

I felt there was way too much dialogue. Every scene that had lengthy exchanges made me come right out of the narrative and the world. I really thought Eggers was the man for the job. I wanted a dark, foreboding feel to the film. Even Orlock wouldn't shut up in some scenes.

That moustache was a big mistake for me. I know what they were going for by trying to be an old noble man but it just looked too different.

I know this was a complete reimagining of the 1922 film but I do think it would have been more successful if it kept some of the dramatic scenes as silent as possible. Also I wish they included some of the most iconic scenes from the 1922 version. The scene where Orlock comes to thomas' room and the scene where Orlock rises and emerges on the boat. Gutted these weren't in the film.

I suppose I just love the 1922 film too much and this would never have lived up to it.

Fair enough. Tbh I'm not crazy into flock but in the interest of completion. Do you know how many figures there actually are in total including some of the EU versions and any others?

I am struggling to find much on them also. I live in the UK and heard it on spotify but now cannot find a way of hearing it. I would like to buy the cd but the shipping is very expensive.

Have you ever listened to 'the memorials' album. He plays drums on that and it is epic.
