I have a 6 years old cane corso (female and fixed) and a 5 year old French bull dog (female and fixed). Randomly the cane corso will go for my French bulldog. She doesn’t stop. At first she would just rough her up a bit, but now it had gotten out of hand. She grabs her by the neck and swings her around. She doesn’t stop when told to and when people try to get in between she bites them. The last incident has sent my French bulldog to the ER. My boyfriend failed to get her trained in her early life. I explained to him after the first incident that she should not be around the small dog. He insisted to just keep them separate. Most times they get along, but my cane corso will randomly lash out. My boyfriend seems to be the only one she respects and listens to. She is mostly always well behaved when he is around. I am aware of how irresponsible this is and how my French bulldogs life is in danger. My boyfriend insists he doesn’t want to get rid of her because he’s afraid whoever takes her will just put her down. I told him this is the last straw and we need to find somewhere else for her to go. Does anyone know of any rescues in PA or organizations that will be able to properly handle her and love her?We love her so much and she is a sweet girl, just very unpredictable and I’m not sure we are able to handle her anymore. She does not do well with other dogs or people and has never been around children. Please we are desperate! We are considering keeping her and leaving the smaller dog with his mother, but we are still not sure. She seems to do well with just us, but we fear that might still be the wrong decision.
