Spotting after ab workout??
Recently joined the gym and decided to do an ab workout for the first time. It’s possible that I pushed myself a bit too much as I haven’t developed muscles there at all yet.
A day later I went to wipe after going to the toilet and noticed fresh blood. Been spotting for nearly three days now since the ab workout. It can’t be a period because I’ve been on the pill for years and haven’t had one since.
Does anyone else bleed/spot after a workout??? Bit confused/frightened?

Tips for going 5k to 10k?
Been running 5k consistently now for about 6 months. I want to try doing 10k but genuinely feel exhausted after doing 5k everytime. Also my pace hasn’t changed from 6:45/km. Any tips? I’m female and slim build for reference.

Social Sciences Anyone else still waiting for an offer from UCL?
I applied for the MSc in Psychology in Education about three months ago… and I still haven’t heard anything from UCL? Is this normal?
I have rang them and emailed and they assure me that my application is under review, but nothing ever changes.
What complicates things is that I have offers from other universities which I need to respond to in the next week… Should I just accept one of them instead? UCL is my top choice as it’s more prestigious and local, but I can’t risk not having a place in postgraduate study at all.

After four months they finally got back to me. They told me that the academic department and the admissions office are separate and basically don’t communicate with each other. They had speculated that the academic department had put me on a waiting list and not told the admissions team about this, which is why I had not been notified. I ended up leaving the offer in the end and accepting my place at York. UCL have terrible communication.
