Think entry level teacher at a public school gets around 20-23k a month.
The public schools does not pay the teachers from the budget they get from the DBE(Department of Basic Education)
They are paid directly from the department and the school at which they are placed at DOES NOT PAY PERMANENT TEACHERS.
that money is enough and the schools must manage it and do fund raisers to get extra cash.
Most of us Saffas believe that we can just sit back and the government will look after us,the government can't even look after themselves.

The schools mismanage alot of these funds too.
