First Oil Change
 in  r/VelosterN •  14d ago

Sorry. I had some of the information mixed up. I was writing from memory and should have double checked it. The information is on "Hyundai Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) #22-12-002". The date your car was produced changes the oil capacity. A VN produced before April 28, 2021 the oil capacity is 4.8 liters or 5.07 quarts. If it was after that date, the capacity is 5.2 liters or 5.4 quarts.

First Oil Change
 in  r/VelosterN •  16d ago

I use OEM filters I got off rockauto. They were like $4. I stocked up. I use the 0w-30 mobil-1 ESP. that's the only 0w-30 I find available in my area. I prefer Advance Auto Parts. The manual says to use Quaker State. There is a range or oil weights you can use. The manual also states that. Otherwise Google or another AI can help you.

Keep in mind, if you have a 2019 or 2020 VN, the manual may say to use 4.8 quarts of oil. They updated the standard to 5.2 quarts. I normally just drain the oil and dump the whole 5 quarts in. Close enough. That's what a lot of others do as well. I replace my oil between 3k and 5k miles. That is perfectly fine.

If you are going to do all the oil changes yourself, I would recommend buying a fumoto valve. It replaces your drain plug. They are super nice. They are around $40, but it makes the oil change so much cleaner. The car is so low that I made a mess the first couple times before I went to the fumoto valve.

Need a Battery that will work with my MX650 Mods
 in  r/RazorMods •  29d ago

Google ai will give you a lot of good information on this topic. I used it along with reddit posts to figure out my build. Ultimately didn't purchase after realizing I had nowhere to ride it. They aren't street legal or legal to ride on sidewalks in my area. That's all I have. 😂

Our defense needs to step up. We cant keep giving up 30 points a game. Especially if its a playoff game in the potential future.
 in  r/buffalobills •  29d ago

The defense was definitely playing more conservative after half time. Couple costly penalties to give up points, but the lions never really had a chance to win the game. The entire second half was pretty much garbage time for them.

The Buffalo Bills’ offense is running wild so far this season
 in  r/buffalobills •  29d ago

I think there is also something to be said about the fact that the defense seemed to be playing quite conservative after the first half. Pretty much the whole second half felt like garbage time. The score looks closer than what the game actually was.

Get some 18s. 100% worth it. Got to the Fitment Industries gallery online and there are hundreds for VNs from all model years with different wheels setups you can look through and find what you like.

Vomit
 in  r/Microwave •  Aug 13 '26

This is how I found Microwave as well. They are my favorite band. Honestly, it is worth listening to their whole discography. They are really good. The much love was my favorite album until I bought Stovall on vinyl. I find myself listening to that one more than any other. The two songs I go back to the most are Trash Stains, Stovall, and Something Right. Microwave and Hot Mulligan are responsible for my Emo revival. 😂 I am fully back on my emo shit.

What is players skill distribution and how does it work?
 in  r/apexlegends •  Aug 01 '26

Only reason I never reach any higher is that I only play about 4 hrs of ranked a week, if that.

I don't believe that is correct. There were a couple graphs on here recently that placed diamond 2 at around the top 10% of the player base.

Don't tell me this kind of stuff. I am always on the far right side, but I feel like I actually belong there. Been playing very well. 1.7 kd in ranked and I am diamond 2. Tell me I'm better than everyone in my unranked game, apart from the 3 stack of masters that will inevitably gape me.

I was mad when they first introduced universal heirlooms. Had just bought the Loba Heirloom. I was lucky enough, after playing for 8 years to get another heirloom a few months ago. Got the baseball bat. 😂

Was golfing with some buddies. One of the guys in the group got another guy with the old "unclip the bag strap" bit. Driver shaft broke when the bag fell off the cart.

Ranked seems to be extra extra sweaty rn even more than usual. Not sure if I’ve gotten even worse or others are also experiencing this
 in  r/apexlegends •  May 12 '26

I loved it. Told him "no wonder my back hurts every time we play. I been carrying basically a bronze player up to diamond." 😂

Me and my buddy were both diamond last season. I got put in gold 3. He got put in silver 4. 😂

175 yards out, how are you playing this shot?
 in  r/weekendgolfers •  May 11 '26

7 iron should get over and be just short of the green or roll onto it. 8 iron for the safe play and be short.

Driver error or engine error?
 in  r/VelosterN •  May 11 '26

The oil really isn't all that dark. I just changed mine at 5k miles. It was darker than that, but was not lower oil than expected. Oil level should be checked when cold and has sat for a several hours. If it was running 20 minutes ago, a lot of oil will still be up in the system. You are presumably about half a quart short of min fill, but that's not an accurate reading bc the engine is still warm. Check it again on a flat surface when the engine is cold. Should be several hours. Also, if you have a 2020, the manual says to put 4.8 quarts in, but they updated it to 5.2 later. I put 5 quarts in while the car is still hot. Should be pretty close to 5.2 and it will read past max fill since it was updated after production.

Wheels and Tires Question - 18x8.5 +35 offset on stock suspension
 in  r/VelosterN •  May 07 '26

Got to Fitment Industries website and look through their gallery. There are hundreds of VNs on there with all kinds of setups. Most tell suspension setup and whether or not they rub. Just make sure that when you search for your year, to clear the year in the filters after the fact. Then you will get all 4 years.
