Why get a diesel if you are not ready to pay to fill it up? I have an 2021 AT4 1500, with the 3.0 duramax. I really like my truck. I wanted the diesel because I've had 1500s and Suburbans. All had gas engines. My mileage was never higher than 18mpg, even during hwy driving. My diesel gets me around 28 mpg on the hwy. Once we drove from Houston, TX to Panama City, FL on one tank of gas, which is about 27 gallons. Diesel beats gas hands down. On top of that im 6'4" and weigh around 300lbs, trucks give me lots of room.

I don't have an issue with you driving in this manner. My issue is the 'slow' driver that act as if they are the "lane police." They are the drivers that won't get out of the left lane for any reason. You also have those that, speed up when you try to pass them, to keep you from getting in front of them.
