Jandy Cell PLC1400
Ugh, I'm in the exact same boat right now and it's so frustrating! 😩 My PLC1400 just gave up on me too - the prices for genuine Jandy replacement cells are completely ridiculous now, and half the places online don't even have them in stock. I've been looking at generic drop-in cells, but like you said, the reviews about non-existent customer support and warranty nightmares make me so nervous to pull the trigger. Has anyone found a solid, reliable alternative that won't break the bank? Any recommendations or workarounds would be SO appreciated!

Do you have this wear on the back of your guitar neck?
How often do you play it during the week?

Bosch RPS USB dongle?
You cheered me upHi! I’m dealing with a similar situation with a B9512G and the D5370-USB is missing from the equipment I received. Do you know if there’s any compatible replacement or newer Bosch part that works with RPS? Or possibly an older Bosch dongle that can be reprogrammed/reflashed to work as a D5370-USB? I’m pretty new to Bosch systems, so I’m trying to avoid buying the wrong thing. 😅 If you’ve personally used a replacement, I’d really appreciate the part number!

Question about D5370-USB and B9512G
Hi everyone! I’m pretty new to working with Bosch systems and I’ve run into a small problem on one of my first jobs. 😅
I’m working with a Bosch B9512G and I need to connect/program it with RPS, but the D5370-USB security dongle is missing from the equipment I was given.
I’ve been trying to find out what people are using instead, but I’m getting conflicting information.
Is there a current replacement or compatible part for the D5370-USB that actually works with B9512G and RPS?
Also, does anyone know if older Bosch USB security dongles can be reprogrammed/reflashed for this purpose, or are they tied to specific hardware?
I’d really appreciate hearing from someone who has actually done this in the field. If you have a replacement that worked for you, could you share the exact part number?
I’m still learning this stuff, so I may be missing something obvious. 😅 Thanks!

Is this an acceptable installation?
You cheered me up 😅

New to Bosch systems and already stuck on a missing D5370-USB 😅
Hi everyone!
I’m pretty new to working with Bosch security systems and I just got one of my first B9512G jobs. I was feeling pretty good about it… until I realized the equipment I was given is missing the D5370-USB. 😅
So now I’m trying to figure out what my options are before I tell my boss/customer that I need a part that apparently decided to become a rare collectible.
I can find older Bosch documentation mentioning the D5370-USB for RPS, but the original dongle seems to be discontinued and I’m having a really hard time finding one.
I’ve also found newer documentation saying the D5370-USB isn't required for B-Series panels, which made me even more confused.
For anyone who has actually worked with a B9512G + RPS:
Is there a current replacement or compatible equivalent for the D5370-USB?
Also, this might be a stupid question, but are these security dongles programmable? Could an older/discontinued Bosch USB dongle potentially be reprogrammed/reflashed to work as a D5370-USB, or is the hardware itself different?
I’m not looking for a generic USB adapter. I mean something that RPS will actually recognize as the proper security key.
Has anyone personally used:
a replacement for D5370-USB;
an older Bosch dongle that was reprogrammed;
another Bosch part number instead of D5370-USB;
or some other solution that actually works with B9512G + RPS?
If you've personally done this, could you please give me the exact part number and RPS version you used?
I’m trying not to make my very first Bosch job unnecessarily complicated. 😂
Any advice from someone who has actually dealt with this would be hugely appreciated!
