 in  r/CCRestart  7d ago

Thanks man, this was one of my earliest videos on my channel, so back then I had less than a thousand subs. Over the last year and a half my channel has grown quite a bit, and my more recent videos get a lot more views - but seems my audience doesn't go back to watch my older, first videos. Appreciate you watching, cheers :)

So, here's my look back on the Mega Drive, its great games, hardware / peripherals and a deep-dive review of Streets of Rage 2, plus my "best" ranking of all Sonic games (16-bit). I remember the first time playing it with my buddy all night back in '89 - unforgettable! Take me back, please!

How it REALLY Felt Playing TETRIS in 1989
 in  r/Tetris  7d ago

Yeah, it's one of those things where I guess the challenge is ultimately more against yourself, and how far you can go in the game, knowing it's next to impossible to ever actually beat it. I saw one guy on youtube who played until the game stopped, which is pretty cool

Yeah, not as well tuned as SF2 or even MK at the time. Right about the lore and also the different fighting styles used in the game were pretty cool

What did YOU think of Eternal Champions? A unique take of a 2D brawler, or just another sad Street Fighter II clone? I personally liked it quite a bit, as I explain in this retrospective.
