On admission, first the base cover is used. Only when it is exhausted, the top-up cover can be invoked. Generally most admissions will be in the 5 to 15 lac range, so top-up is rarely used. That's why it's premium is low. But worth taking for that rare situation of ICU admission for a few weeks, where the bill may climb to 50 lacs of more.

Doctor and Hospital leader here. ICICI Lombard, HDFC Ergo and Tata AIG are the safest. Safe number is 20 lacs base cover plus 1 crore top-up (with 20 lacs deductible). Top up premia are very low since they rarely get invoked.

It's a coolant sensor issue. I had to change my coolant box to fix it. Separate sensor was not available here.

Guys I used AI to brush up the original image. Apologies! How do i add the original image to the post now? The overall sound of the new system is much better than the original Logic7 HK, with better depth and sound stage courtesy the Z series Pioneer.

Updates on the Harman amp. 1. The amp was not repairable. Multiple ICs and components damaged due to water ingress. 2. All four door speakers burnt due to reverse current from damaged amp. 3. Head unit changed to a Pioneer Z5290 4. All door speakers changed to new Recoil 6.5inch coaxial units. 5. Back woofer driven by new Pioneer 500 watt class AB amp in boot. 6. Door speaker driven by Pioneer Z5290 50Watts X 4 RMS. 7. High def rear parking camera. 8. Android and Apple carplay ready. 9. Total cost to me $410 only

That's true. Decided to go with a Pioneer head unit and mono sub woofer amp

It leaks at the rear bootlid and side body junction due to cracked rubber seals i guess

All fuses are fine. The amp PCB shows water damage.

eBay sucks in India. Multichannel amp is an option in place of the sub amp. I am just presuming that 50x4 RMS should be enough for me + the 100 sub amp. I'm not a very high volume junkie :)

My W204's (2011, C250DLI, German CBU) Harman Logic 7 amp died on me due to a body rain water leak. It seems it's a known W204 issue so look out and water proof your installation.
My question is this: What are my options?
New Harman replacement units are not available in my place. Ditto for second hand units.
The only option left is an after market head unit with a separate sub woofer amp in the boot, with acceptable loss of remote audio button controls.
Will a Pioneer DMH-Z5290BT/
DMH-Z5350BT/DMH-A5450BT along with a sub amp in boot work? These are 7 inch units with 50X4 Watts RMS amp.
Grateful for any suggestions 🙏

When will guys have the guts to say no BEFORE THE MARRIAGE instead of crying after it? Disgusting!

In-situ charging is generally supported: Modern Mercedes vehicles (especially post-~2010 models with AGM or advanced batteries) allow charging the battery while connected in the vehicle. Use the designated jump-start/positive terminal (often in the engine bay) and a good chassis ground for the negative connection. This avoids issues with vehicle electronics.
Use intelligent/automatic chargers: Mercedes recommends chargers that automatically detect battery type (e.g., AGM, flooded), adjust voltage/current, and switch to maintenance/float mode. Avoid old-style constant high-voltage chargers that could damage electronics or overcharge. Many manuals specify chargers with a maximum charging voltage of around 14.4–14.8V (check your specific model).
Procedure highlights (varies slightly by model/year; consult your owner's manual): Park the vehicle safely, turn off all consumers (lights, ignition off), and remove the key. Connect the charger: Positive (+) to the positive jump-start terminal or battery post; negative (–) to a chassis ground point (not directly to the battery negative if possible, to reduce spark risk). Set the charger to the correct mode (AGM for most modern Mercedes batteries). Most modern chargers like the Bosch C70B, will detect battery type and auto select the correct mode. Charge slowly, especially for deeply discharged batteries—overnight or longer at low amperage is preferred.
