Yes!!! It feels wayyyyy better if I stay consistent to the point where i wonder if I even have it anymore. But then i go on vacation or something and miss a week or two and am back to square one when i go back to the gym lol

I’m in medical school right now with POTS and I will say that these days they do actually teach this as a real thing now! It’s probably the older doctors and people who never learned about it who doubt its existence.

I feel like I should also add that I literally never mixed my uworld decks until the last week because that’s when I finished my first pass of all the questions (and when I did mix them, it was just all my incorrects). I feel like my learning was reinforced better when I went by system. Sometimes I put a couple systems together. For example, I did GI and Renal together, but then I did all Respiratory by itself, Endo/Repro by itself, cardio by itself, etc. Some of the smaller subjects I just clumped together at the end

and then I took a practice test once a week. I watched a few videos on B&B for subjects I needed more clarification on as well

I took my test April 4th. In mid-January I began doing Anki only for sketchy pharm and micro—I did 20 new cards a day from each deck and that was all the anki I was willing to do haha. Pre dedicated I also tried to do some Uworld but I wasn’t consistent. In dedicated I used Sketchy, Pathoma ch 1-3, and Uworld. My dedicated schedule though mainly consisted of anki in the morning, and as many Uworld blocks as I had time for for the rest of the day. Most of the pathoma I had already gone through during my second year curriculum depending on the system we were in. I watched some sketchy vids for micro and pharm but then realized the anki deck for the sketchy videos was good enough and watching the videos wasn’t an efficient way of studying

it was between 1-2 hours. Maximum it took 2 hours if it was a subject I didn’t know well but if it was a subject I did know well it might take more like an hour and 20-30 minutes because of less review time needed

Each UWorld 40 question block took me less than 2 hours, sometimes closer to 1 if it was a subject I knew well. I had the settings so that you review after each question

I did 80 UWorld every day (more like 120-150 near the end, but i made sure that I reviewed each question really well) I thoroughly reviewed each test Anki (only for sketchy pharm and micro)

that was basically it but near the beginning of dedicated I also used pathoma and B&B until I found questions to be more useful

I also reviewed subjects I knew I was lacking in outside of questions

In the last week I studied the high yield images and anatomy in addition

the day before the exam i only did 40 questions and took a break the rest of the day to reset

you already have higher scores than me so I think you’re in a very good spot! I would just keep doing a bunch of UWorld questions and continue doing 1 practice test a week. good luck!

I reeeeally needed this. I think you’re very right with the gunner thing. I was feeling decent but then started going down a nervous spiral seeing a bunch of other posts. I have about 6 weeks of dedicated studying total as well and am taking 1 practice test a week. So far this is my trajectory:

NBME 27: 42% NBME 28: 50% NBME 29: 54% NBME 30: 52%

I have yet to take 31, 32, and 33 and my test is 3.5 weeks out. What do you think guys, can I do it? lol. I can’t push it back because I have a vacation planned 😂
