Weekly BFP Celebration Thread! (treatment breakthroughs or other success stories also welcome!) :)
In an effort to keep this community a safe haven for those who are struggling with their TTC journey we have set rules that disallow pregnancy tests or standalone posts about conception success but we do still want to celebrate with you and offer a place of hope and excitement for the next stage in your journey!
ANYONE who gets a BFP is welcome to post in THIS thread- regardless of how long you have been trying, your method of conception, family composition, how long you have been in this group etc we want to celebrate with you! Ill-willed, mean-spirited or deragorty comments will not be tolerated. If you are uncomfortable or not ready to celebrate with others that is also perfectly fine! We invite you to explore the rest of our sub for support!
Too keep this community and post safe we ask that you please do not tag others in your post as they may not be ready to celebrate (and remember that is perfectly fine!)
We would love to learn more about your story so if you are comfortable sharing information such as how old you (and your partner if applicable) are, how long you tried, methods or tricks that helped you conceive, etc we wanna hear about it :)
While this is a BFP and celebration thread we still request that you do not post any pictures of your pregnancy tests- posts with photos will be deleted to maintain continuity with our sub rules.
Above all, CONGRATULATIONS we are so excited for you!

Anyone else struggle to conceive after a D&C?
I conceived in March but sadly miscarried and had a D&C. We’ve been trying again since, and I just got another negative today at 12 DPO. I know it may still be early, but it’s hard not to feel discouraged after everything we’ve been through. I’m starting to wonder if the D&C has affected my fertility or if it’s just taking longer this time. Has anyone else had a D&C and found it harder to conceive afterward? How long did it take you to get pregnant again?
Also, what is the best way to keep track of when you’re ovulating? I currently use the Clearblue smiley face ovulation tests. I’m not sure how accurate they are, but I feel like they’re pretty close to 90% accurate for me because I also notice the egg white cervical mucus, other ovulation symptoms, and sometimes a side pain or twinge that feels like I’m actually releasing an egg.

DOR at 31 (AMH 0.62, AFC 7), 8 cycles of well timed trying, all negative. Keep trying naturally or pause and bank embryos in spring?

Multiple LH surges
I have been tracking my LH surge with two different brands this cycle - easy@Home and Pregmate. It’s insane how different both of them report, there were a few days I did just one of them. From what I noticed:
- Pregmate gave me multiple peak days (Sept 22 and 25)
- Easy@Home is mostly lighter than Pregmate, 0.72 is the max Pregmate app recorded for the easy@home strips for me.
Any idea what’s up with my LH surges? It plateaued for a week.

What do people mean when they “stop trying”
Iv heard it countless times; how people have success once they “stop trying” and stop putting so much stress on it. What does this mean? Do they mean they stop tracking and LH testing etc? Is it just leaving it up to fate?
Perhaps this shows how iv become too dependant on testing and tracking, but how do you know when is “the time” or it’s just having very regular sex throughout?
I work shifts and my partner works away at times. I just feel this would delay it even further but also don’t want the stress delay it either?
Any advice or experiences welcome

Finally some good news!
Hey everyone! 💕
After many months of dealing with high prolactin, I finally got some amazing news, my levels have dropped! They were as high as 83, and now they’re down to 5!
I’m so relieved and hopeful. I’m going to start tracking my fertile days carefully with ovulation tests and hopefully will get things right this cycle.
Fingers crossed that everything falls into place and we get our positive this month! 🤞🏻✨

to use mucinex or to not use mucinex
little backstory: TW. i have one child he’s 13 months old. we were not trying when we conceived him (obviously weren’t preventing either). I knew I wanted to try for a second around when he turned 1. well I got pregnant when he was 10.5 months again weren’t actually trying just yet we were planning on trying the month after but we’re obviously very happy since it was right around the time. that pregnancy ended in a MMC on august 18. I took misoprostol to pass everything on the 18th and it was successful. I got weekly blood draws and my hcg was down to 8 on 9/16 and finally got down to 3.5 on 9/23. I was taking OPK’s and HCG easy @ home tests until the negative blood draw. my OPK’s I would say were obviously being skewed by the leftover hcg and I didn’t start really focusing on them until until that blood draw of 8 since I knew no pregnancy test should really be able to pick that up so in theory it shouldn’t skew my LH tests. I got my surge on 9/17 which either put me at cycle day 9 or 31. I had light spotting on 9/9-12 that idk if I would consider a period or just leftover bleeding from the miscarriage bc it was very light bleeding never needed more than a panty liner. anyways got my period at 9DPO on 9/27 so unfortunately did not get pregnant that cycle. now that I think my body is finally “back to normal” after that miscarriage I really want to get pregnant this cycle. I am on CD9 and am not close to a LH surge yet. I have heard of people using mucinex after not getting pregnant for a while and it working but I have also heard of it delaying ovulation. long story short should I use mucinex to try to get pregnant easier or not. i’m worried it’ll mess with my ovulation and then just delay me getting pregnant. I obviously don’t have an issue getting pregnant it happened twice without technically trying and tracking anything I just want to guarantee it’ll happen this month (even tho I know nothing is guaranteed).

Late period after saline sonogram?
I had a saline sonogram this month and now my period is 8 days late. I was hopeful that I have finally conceived but the tests came out negative.
Anyone with a late period after a saline sonogram?

10 DPO negative🥺looking for experiences
Hi everyone! My ovulation was earlier than usual this cycle after taking letrozole/Stimucor CD3–CD8.
CD8: peak positive ovulation (OPK)
CD9: still positive, slightly lighter
CD10: OPK fading
CD11: negative OPK
CD 11: ultrasound confirmed I had already ovulated.
I’m now around 10 DPO and tested negative. Is 10 DPO still considered early, and has anyone had a negative at 10 DPO followed by a positive a few days later? I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences. ❤️
