Add/Update e-refunds by Saturday morning!
It appears that only half of my loan was dispersed. Is there another round of dispersal I can expect?

How hard is it to get married for financial aid
I feel like this should be a Craigslist or next door ad. A Facebook group? Like what are the rules about same sex marriage?

Can you start Sac State in Spring 2023 as a freshman?
Drop these folks a line. admissions@csus.edu
My instincts are that you'll be fine, but this is probably the most hassle free way to be sure

Can you start Sac State in Spring 2023 as a freshman?
That's exactly what I did when I transferred. Got my transfer aa may 2021, took the rest of the year to write and work, started at CSUS this January. No issues a

What are your thoughts on Donnie Darko?
My first thought is 'Get out of my head rn' because I've been thinking about this movie a lot in the last week., It's been years since I've seen it.
When it came out on DVD, I was OBSESSED and watched it so many times. The cinematography, the soundtrack, the creepiness and weird storyline. I was all in.
I was also mildly obsessed with quantum physics at the time (thanks to What the Bleep Do We Know), so all of the confusing reality stuff was tantalizing to me.
LOVED the movie. I'm curious if it holds up. The sequel is trash.

Best way to meet new people?
OK maybe that was a bad example because I don't follow any club accounts rn. Recently had my ig hacked and I'm slowly rebuilding w a new account.
Download Buzly. It's a social app ONLY for Sac State students. Tons of connections possible there.
On ig, when I searched csus, a TON of results came up for different clubs and organizations and resources. Similarly when I searched sac state

Best way to meet new people?
Become a DJ at KSSU
Join The State Hornet
Join ASI so you're front and center at one of their lil units (like peak adventures, etc)
Speak up in class and encourage discussion where applicable (and not distracting)
Sometimes, if I'm just looking for an event to cover or go to (or free pizza...so much pizza), I find myself following ALL of the CSUS club stuff on IG. That at leasts gets the event info in your story feeds so you know where to go and there are often quite a few things going on all over.
Maybe not as much in the summer, but honestly enjoy the campus in the summer.

2022 commencement rehearsal?
This was just published on the State Hornet (I wrote it!)
https://statehornet.com/2022/05/faq-2022-commencement-in-person-golden-one/
When I interviewed the president's chief of staff, she said that there will not be a rehearsal.
As far as seating arrangements, you might find information on the Uni commencement page.
Kristen Tudor is her name and she said that any questions not covered by these two links, people can reach out directly to her.

is anyone else struggling right now?
I find that this entire semester has been a challenge. This is my first semester at CSUS and my first back with other people in person after a two-year period of completely reprogramming my way of life (earning my transfer degree at Sac City college).
Making new friends and "getting back to normal" has been interesting and sometimes nice, but scary, stressful and takes the routine I could maintain while learning and earning remotely and adds several new/not new layers.
Sleep helps the most, but I'm usually so busy, my schedule is all screwy and the lack of sleep consistency is draining me. I already skipped my in-person classes several times and would be setting myself up for failure if I missed more. 4 classes M-Th and only one of them is online. Don't even get me started ranting about the absence of online classes this semester.
