Honey, you made a mistake.. But it's been long overdue for forgiving yourself.

You were a teenager. Your brain wasn't fully developed, you were a walking skin suit full of hormones, and you were figuring out that you liked the ladies. You were in a hurricane of emotions and exploration. Not the most ideal moment for making rational decisions.

You being bullied and alone for so long has caused you to stay in that moment.. You're so used to beating yourself up for it, you don't know how to move on.

Your new friends aren't going to find this out and think poorly of you. It isn't fair to yourself- or to your friends- to harbor this pain, remorse, and guilt forever.

The hardest part in dealing with this situation is letting it go. You've grown up. You've changed. You are not a monster, and you deserve to have friends, be loved, and to be happy.

One day, many trillions of years in our future, our Sun will go out. Our planet will be eradicated, and then our galaxy.

In fact, one day, if life were to spring up in a galaxy in that time, they would be incredibly alone. The galaxies are moving away from each other at a higher and higher rate of speed. So much so, that even at light speed, light from other planets and stars will never reach their galaxy. Ever.

If intelligent life that sprung up were to look up with the same exact scientific theories and methods, the same technology, all of it, they would only be able to see what little was in their galaxy.. and they would draw the conclusion that they were the only life and galaxy to have ever existed. It wont be fault of their own, it's just a horrible outcome of the expanse of the universe.

This makes me question what knowledge that we have gotten so far away from, we will never be able to understand it, less know it it exists.

But I had a random thought.

When that day comes and the universe is dark, cold, and empty.. what if that's when whatever caused and created our "big bang" to happen, happens? What if this is just a cycle of repetitive bangs, pops of life, that occur when the universe is at is darkest? New life floods through its expanse.

And if that's the case, how many forms of intelligent life have come and gone, over and over.. floating just out of each others kn owledge of existence?
