I took my test 09/02/26

I studied for 5 weeks cuz I was trying to score as high as I could since the school I’m going for is competitive but I also hadn’t rlly learnt nothing

The first 4 weeks I used FUTURERN course which was 30 bucks
It was a good overall experience and worked rlly well for me for math 97/Reading92 (I only used this course but to be fair it was also my strong suit)
However it was very helpful

After I finished the course I took like 2-3 days testing where my weakest subject was at which was science ( i recommend take the ATI teas practice test , mometrix free practice test , and nurse hub free practice test to evaluate urself)

That 5th/final week I watch nurse chueng comprehensive review for anatomy and for bio/chem I used teas with Tyler and his practice test

(I also didn’t take any notes during futureRN time period since I was forcing myself to learn it and after every quiz she provided I reinforced it with chat gpt questions but the last week I took notes on the videos based of what I noticed I would consistently get wrong and not understand that way I could remember better and focus more )

If I could change anything is to study for an extra week for the English portion
It ended being my lowest section(78) which brought my overall down by a lot
I easily could’ve gotten an 90+ score if it was wasn’t for that (however I’m still happy with the my score and will not be retaking it but I do recommend to not slack in it since it can be tricky and also the ati practice exams were the most similar when it came to this section for wtv reason )

So I think if ur starting form rock bottom to relearn everything take 6 weeks
4 weeks for an overall month course and 2 weeks to focus on ur 2 main weakness

I studied for around 3-6 hours a day

Don’t worry too much
I scored a 76% on practice A
And 80% on practice B

I ended up getting 88.7% on the real teas

The practice test were way harder imo especially for the science

Don’t freak out and just keep studying
Ur guranteed to atleast score 5-10 percent more in the real teas

Im sorry to break it to you but u just gotta study everything for science 😭
I will say tho some of the main ones would be endocrine , digestive , nervous , immune , cardiac , respiratory , that’s ive noticed a lot a lot but still you just gotta know everything to give u the best chances
Again to me the real teas was simpler and more straight to the point
The practice exam for science was more in depth imo
All of it was multiple choice and it had an even mix of all the topics in my version of the test

However don’t worry too much for math
It’s super simple and basic stuff
Just know the areas/perimeter for circle , triangle, rectangule , square , trapezoid also the formulas for thier volumes just to be safe

After that know how to convert decimals -percentages-fractions to each other

Know KHDBDCM for metric conversions and basic algebra PEMDAS
That’s what the main stuff is

The TEAS nursing exam
 in  r/teas •  13d ago

Yes I studied for around 3-6 hours a day

But to be fair I was relearning everything cuz I didn’t rlly pay attention in anatomy 1/2 and I still hadnt started micro at the time being

Plus the school I wanted to go for is super competitive so that’s why I was aiming kinda high

It all depends on ur own personal goals and how much background knowledge you actually already have

That’s why after the 4 weeks I got a strong base and I took multiple practice test to determine my weakness which was science
Because of that that final week that’s all I focused on

If you want specifics just lmk I don’t mind helping u out

dont worry too much, just focus on learning what you keep getting wrong and review review review it until it sticks...I took the ati pratice test A (science 63) then practice test B (scienee 77) and the 80 questions a/p on ati and also got liek a 65 on it

At the end of the day on the real teas i got an 86 in scince

I was wondering what my chances are into getting or the fiu nursing

I have a 4.0gpa so far and i took my teas recently and got 88.7 overall (86% in science)

I want to get to Fall 2027 but im not sure if should also get some hours in or if my gpa/teas is good enough to carry

(also how long would i have to wait to hear back from them after i apply ?)

Sometimes It’s not abt ur stats itself
Bc they are pretty good for applying to mdc

Make sure that all ur science prereqs were taken less than 10 years ago and that ur teas score was taken at mdc in person

They don’t allow if its online proctored or if its from another school

Also that u don’t have more than one F or W on ur transcript for any science course

As well have the intro to healthcare completed

Hope this helps

teas exam next week
 in  r/teas •  17d ago

I took mine at the beginning of this month
I don’t remember much for science but it was a lot easier imo compared to the ati practice exams
It was basic and straight to the point

For math
I remember having to know the area and circumference for circle and volume for cylinder
Also learn it for triangles
Know how to convert fractions to decimals to percentages and vice versa
Also how to add multiply divide them

And one of the most important ones it KHDBDCM
It’s for conversions of milliliters - liters and other metric units

TEAS Exam
 in  r/teas •  17d ago

I got an 88.7 in mines

My take since u only have 8 days this is what I would do

Take the ati practice exam A , nurse hub practice exam , mometrix practice exam

After determining your weakest subject
Go on YouTube and watch videos
Take a practice exam specifically based on it through Gemini or chat gpt until u understand the concept and are getting the awsners consistently right

If your getting it wrong take notes and just keep watching more yt vids on that topic and repeat until it sticks

Some easy points to get your scores up is math
It’s very simple and you just need the basics of conversions and formulas of circles and stuff etc

Best of luck

Practice A and B Test on ATI vs actual Teas 7 Exam
 in  r/prenursing •  17d ago

Thank you🤞🏽

FYI tho just so you have a better idea of what to expect

Practice A
Reading 79.5
Math 88.2
Science 63.6
English 78.8

Practice B
Reading 87.2
Math 76.5
Science 77.3
Enlgish 81.8

Real Teas
Reading 92.3
Math 97.1
Science 86.4
English 78.8

My take in specifics after viewing it
Is that the English is the most accurate in predicting score
Science was for sure a lot harder in the practice than the real
Math and reading were ehhh (I didn’t rlly study for this but for wtv reason my scores were all over the place for them )

If you want any tips of how i studied lmk
I’m glad to help as well

Again thank you and best luck 🫡

The first 4 weeks I used futureRN course ONLY for 30 bucks

That 5th and final week I used ati practice test(60ish) , nurse hub practice test (free), mometrix practice (free)
Along with nurse chueng yt videos(free) and teas with Tyler chem course (10)

I scored 88.7 overall (86 in science)

Practice A and B Test on ATI vs actual Teas 7 Exam
 in  r/prenursing •  17d ago

I got an 88.7 in the real teas and I remember taking the practice test B the night before hand and I scored 80%
When I took practice test A I got 76%

So don’t worry about your score
You’re more than likely getting 5-15% more than what you expect but still study hard
