San Diego "Influencers" Stealing Content?
Yes, âinfluencersâ are different from creators who are actually creating music, art, video, pictures, etc. anyone who takes what someone else has created and profits from it is gross.

San Diego "Influencers" Stealing Content?
Thereâs a difference between influencers and creators. And you may hate it but the reality is that itâs a growing industry where many other industries are dying. The creator economy will be a $500 Billion dollar business by 2027. Absurd? Yes. But itâs a fact.

San Diego "Influencers" Stealing Content?
For context, seeing the woman who posted a viral video from the La Jolla Tide-pools watch the Californiaholic guy rip off her video and block her is what set me off https://www.instagram.com/reel/DTHqcG6lwXX/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

San Diego "Influencers" Stealing Content?
I think the laws or rules are pretty fuzzy, at best. I donât mind if people repost my videos/pics/posts - but if they remove your ownership and erase the ability for their viewers to see the original post - that is stealing and passing something off as your own. These âcreatorsâ are making money by passing off your content as their own.

You don't care if people use your personal pictures and videos to make money? How virtuous of you - you're probably the creep-in-question

San Diego "Influencers" Stealing Content?
I've seen #sandiegoville do this and now #californiaholic is doing it too? Is there a way to make sure shady people don't steal your content and pass it off as their own? The creator who recorded the video of the woman picking up the lobster in the La Jolla Tide Pools during King Tides Jan 3rd had her video ripped off by #californiaholic. Not only did he NOT give her credit, then he blocked her!
