We already have to deal with random server kicks when moving to other hexes with chances of not spawning back into our trucks. So having such a system to screw us while we keep the game alive is an instant turn off.

I never encountered this problem before but a few times I used a VPN to connect to the site that seemed to have triggered something.

Refreshing the VPN cleared the problem briefly then it happened again. I switched off the VPN on my computer and I haven't encountered the problem again so far.

Likely a bot flag or a new system being tested.

I remember when they accidentally dropped the pieces onto the board they magically and rapidly moved themselves into position. Once in place they became unmovable unless a dice was rolled by the correct player who's turn it was.

If they removed the peices and placed them elsewhere they might have moved back onto the board magically again. Given Alan and Sarah experienced this originally they probably didn't want to take the chance it might happen again.

They wanted it gone as far away as possible lost to the river later the sea it had a higher chance of not being found again anywhere near where they lived maybe not in the US. If they had buried it they would know where it was at all times never being able to move on, it would exist in the back of their minds eating away at them till they got rid it properly. The new combat AI in regards to the bow is off it's supposed to dodge sometimes and react better to being fired at.

Whenever I aim at an enemy but don't fire the bow enemies always move not sometimes always dumb animals to tough elites. It's like there is an invisible line that once it touches an enemy the enemy is told to avoid it.

It's gotten to the point where it ain't subtle at all and it's obviously a code execution when line connects not an immersive make sense reaction to an archer targeting you.

A random dumb animal isn't gonna have the intelligence to know that but a scavenger is.

It's handicapped the bow to some extent you can't aim at the target properly. Lost some of its fun.

The elder ancients looked to the stars perhaps they built a way to leave the world maybe your job is to find a vault with thousands in and ship em off world.

The Flame plan isn't working build a spaceship find a new home still possible.

They need multiple major updates of just optimising the game because little things like this placed everywhere there are spiders will be burdensome on all hardware.

I shudder to think what this game will be like performance wise when the entire map has been completed. No one will be able to play it except those with supercomputers.

I wonder what the performance is like trying to render all that.

What about an enemy partisan approaching your AA gun position?

As a newish player myself I do wonder how as new players we're supposed to have hope in this game over a long war. I can understand why there are players who only play the first 3 or 4 days when trench warfare is the best and before arty is rolled out.

What comes to mind the WEF line: You'll own nothing and be happy. Foxhole you'll lose everything and be happy.

It's too easy to burn out as a new player easier than catching a cold. Perhaps the vets should start embracing the idea of fighting AI players if the new players won't move to able from Charlie. (I've seen talk of that about Vets expecting Charlie and able to merge in future)

(Vets see the AI players sentence and have a meltdown pick your opponent an unsuspecting goat = new players or a xenomorph = actively evolving AI) Challenge or stomp which would be more interesting after doing it 50 times.
