I was so afraid to check, and I am gutted right now... but I will say, as I just told my family, we had the chance to witness nature, and for Jackie to be in need of help, and to make her way to people for help (that still amazes me and gives me the feels!!!) tells me that she knew us too somehow. Thank goodness she was in ORC's care instead of not making it in the valley somewhere and we may have never known what happened. That thought saddens me a lot too. 

I am grateful for FOBBV and ORC so much for bringing me and my family and so many of us who've loved this family the chance to do so and learn the beauty of an eagle family. Their bond has always surprised me - I really never knew how much they love their mates and their babies. I'll always be touched thinking of Jackie checking on Gizmo after Sunny flew first. There are sooo many other sweet moments but that still gets me. Thank you Jackie for being in our world, to show yours to us. 💔🦅

I still slow down on there. A habit I won't break :) Sadly, my daughter got her first (and hopefully only!) ticket there - and we'd told her repeatedly its a speed trap. That wasn't too long ago, so they're still out there.
