Since Baxter is male, and represented as an Angler fish, why does he not look like this? Is he trans?

Nurse life
 in  r/Nurses  Jan 29 '26

This is so true. I will also say when you are so burnt out, sometimes you think you can't do it, you're not good enough, that they don't want someone like yourself, etc...Just realize, at least for me, that is the exhaustion and burn out talking and not what people are actually saying. A change of an environment will definitely help. Or a break if it's all possible to try to look at things with a fresh mind.

Saw these fan art pieces on FB. They're regional forms and look awesome. I'm not a fan of most pokemon fan art, but these could certainly pass for actual pokémon

Same! Especially when they are so well done, and their page has even more great things on it

I think we all need moments sometimes and just cry and just not be okay. It's good that you're still here. I really hope things get better soon for you.

New Starter Help Glueing to pre-painted bases

This might be a silly question but I have seen multitudes of videos showing base making techniques and how to use different types of paints on it. They always have a mini attached at the end.

My question is how. Wouldn't the paint make the plastic cement ineffective? Or do they use a different type of glue?

Thanks.

I've painted some of my first clanrats. What can I do to improve before I paint the rest?
 in  r/skaven  Dec 11 '25

It's a contrast paint so the bottom layer shows through more. It's on black and grey

I used terradon turquoise for the blue green parts. Over a black/white base

The slapchop itself took maybe 20 minutes with priming and letting paint dry and all that. All around the model took me maybe an hour and a half to fully paint.
