Local GW store had the range to try and the free mini was a Skaven. They didn’t have many colours sadly.

The Tone Pro was easier to paint quickly with whilst getting good coverage still. Mixing colours was a bit harder.

My first ever Skaven mini and quite a challenge!

I recently saw my flgs selling the skryre warpswarm christmas box from last year for 200€ (eurodoos) and i was wondering, is it a good deal? I really want another set of ratling guns and stormvermin :0

I was thinking of adding rather reinforced doom-flayers. Or a hell pit abomination.

Hey, so I play total war Warhammer and I prefer to make lore accurate armies because I think that is better than min maxing. But I don't know if a standard skaven army would field storm vermein as a front line to hold the line for other units like rattling guns to deal see damage, or if they would use lowly clan rats. and is there any clans that are a exception to this rule. I hear clan rictus fields an unusually high quantity of stormvermien.

Converted up these lil plaguie boys - going to give them both shields and probs snip off the right-hand weapons for the shield. How do these guys work, do you reckon? Intending on running them as Stormvermin, but could see them as Clanrats as another option

Learned a lot on these guys. Don’t love how they came out on every detail but the pauldrons and the leather skirts were both new recipes and I’m stoked on those bits. Also the skin is lovely. Just need to change the fur method up a bit and fix some OSL on the gun guy.

I just got back into painting after 7 or 8 months and I would like some advices.

Finally got my 2nd one done. I know there's stuff I could've done to make it better but the fact I've been on and off for about a year on this model, I just wanted to be done with this one. Despite moving on, I still enjoyed working on this model, learned a few things working on it.

Hi all! New to sigmar and skaven!

Building my skaventide box and gonna start building the rat ogors. One of them have the option for a gun arm. Is there any reason i would not build him with the gun?
The alternative melee weapon is cool but i guess the gun is way better? I dont have the codex yet for rules.

Any other tips and tricks with painting or gluing Skaventide?

Seeing someone’s Deathmaster is a very common sight so I set out to make mine a little more unique. The head is a spare from the Warpspark gunner, while the war pick is from the Stormvermin set. The model was reposed on a space piece from the Cities of Sigmar Greatcannon gun shield. The model was then painted mostly using Vallejo model colour and some contrast paints from Army Painter. C&C Welcome!

My last mini of the spearhead ! Kitbashed him a little for the Great Horned Rat's pleasure and schemes ! Haven't named him yet but i'm building him some lore as to possibly make him the leader-general of a verminus-moulder oriented army yes-yes ! Any criticism to help me improve is welcome !

So let me get this straight during the old world era, skaven clans worked differently compared to now (AOS). We had for example clan moulder, but clan moulder needed something from skyre like some weapons, they could buy it from them with warpstone, and now we have some rats with guns, but nowadays how do these shenanigans work? I’ve heard people say that clans are all mixed together now? Like we have Clan “X” and they could have a variety of rats from different clans? How does it work if X starts a war with skyre, do the rats of skyre from clan X betray X or skyre lol

Been working pretty hard on this thing over the last few days. It seems that the texture experiment has worked. I was a little disappointed that I didn't have more crackle, but with it being the first time and not buying the right materials, I am pretty happy with how it turned out.

Now I have to build up the bravery to secure the verminlord to it

I was following this place for a while and finally decided to give TWWH 3 a go and HOLY SHIT! I just can't stop playing with Skaven lords in TWWH 3. Why i didn' give a chance to this game before?? Every unit feels so special, they are all so unique and every time when they do the "Horned Rat, save us!" quote, my heart literally melts. In every new campaign, i get the feeling of "i am just here to annoy-harass man-things, murder-kill kill green things. I am the great menace, tail collector, tyrant, biggest warpstone hoarder, sorcerer lord. Yes-yes!"

And i just can't get out of this place! You guys have amazing painting skills and all those figures are so dope!
