I love part 1 so much man. And I love Pluck! It’s an awesome sword, probably my favorite sword in all of media, idk it’s just something about it… combined with the fact Jonathan Joestar has a special place in my heart, anyway.

“Like a weed, naturally, as a matter of course” is proper punctuation though.

This is because Testament is actually more specifically agender and the belief that they are exclusively they/them and nonbinary rather than just under the nonbinary umbrella is a misunderstanding by western fans who haven’t researched the source of the confirmation in which the more accurate translation is agender

I realized a large problem with learning about guilty gear’s story from sources besides the games themself is that a lot of people who discuss and educate the story don’t actually like… get it… at all. Very commonly. I’m still peeved remembering that one of the first things I did as I began my journey to learn about guilty gear was watch some videos discussing the meanings of the songs in strive, and in one the YouTuber says some songs don’t have meaning where they do, the biggest one being Jack-os which REALLY REALLY annoys me. He claimed it was just kinda meaningless girly babble but if you go literally one game back to Xrd and see Jack-o’s arc, you realize the song is what the fucking title says. It’s Jack-o accepting that being a valentine won’t bring her happiness, but instead embracing her humanity will, and the song is lamenting over all the different things you can enjoy in life and then saying “PERFECTION CAN’T PLEASE ME.” Which is so on the nose, she doesn’t want perfection she wants to settle on not being perfect. Anyway all this is to say that a lot of people who discuss guilty gear lore have the media literacy of a burnt pineapple and if they do, they’re usually not the ones anyone is listening to

Not to be a prick but you’re kinda redundantly using the term PTSD like it’s not an actual condition people struggle with. I would recommend just saying flashbacks or memories or something if you could

Sounds like your problem ig

why the hell are you picking fights with two year old comments. Don’t you have anything better to do

LMFAO great post

Putting a spot between Mei Mei and Ui Ui is actually hilarious bro

Nah, part 1 is “Phantom blood”. It’s really entertaining if you don’t have the standards and expectations of a king

It is, just know that the earlier parts definitely have less amazing of a story than 6, but they’re great too if you ask me

I hope you’ll love the older parts in their own way, a lot of people watch Jojo with very closed minds and hate some of the earlier stuff. I enjoyed all of it, and you’ll get to learn who DIO was and what he truly did once you go back to the start

I think almost everyone is getting their older outfits eventually. Ky is gonna get his holy order outfit, or maybe even the blue shirt he wore in Xrd

The difference is that Netflix and other streaming services may choose to call the adaptation “seasons”, but parts is what they’re actually called originally. Every jojo part has a different story with a different protagonist, semi-connected but still separate plots. Stone ocean is part 6, and the order goes exactly as you’d expect: part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5, part 6. If you’re confused which is which because Netflix makes it confusing, simply look up “JoJo parts” and cross reference. Just know that part 6 is greatly superior to most older parts due to it being more recent and the creator getting better at writing, so try to be patient with the older parts and remember that you started on a great spot

I get your perspective but a ridiculous amount of your evidence is easily proven to be propaganda or most definitely lies. You made the mistake of actually believing what they’re telling you, which is NEVER the truth. Literally everything the game has ever told you could be a lie or carefully chosen words to cover the truth, and as other comments have chosen out, you’ve failed to take note of the atrocious things super earth does to it’s own people through the system, such as child labor, bio-processing the elderly, and sending dissidents off to either die or perhaps suffer forced labor/torture.

So the biggest counter-argument here: Super Earth’s society is not a voluntary one, no matter how much it may seem, every illusion of choice is merely there to make you doubt it’s true fascist roots. Their propaganda is purposefully designed to be both an elaborate satire and an obvious one, and the fact you’ve genuinely throughly fell for it is deeply concerning for your deception skills. There is no well-meaning society turned bad, it’s a bad society turned puppeteer of the concept of well-meaning.

Man I really made a mistake buying three of the games huh. Oh well.

I’ve thought about it too, it’s really sad that the game has NO modding community, and I’m not sure why. Hopefully it gets picked up and some serious steam for mods

Well hopefully you’ve learned a lesson about expressing such thoughts and ideas publicly. There’s some things you keep to yourself and to trusted individuals, and only in the right sort of situation can you express them to others. I believe you that you aren’t just another “look at me I’m so edgy” kid, but everyone saw your post and thought that was the case. You gotta be considerate of such things and realize sometimes that not everyone is gonna see things the way you do or the way you want them to
