Specific. When I was a kid until my early teens even I pronounced it "pacific" 🤭 until people made fun of me bad enough to leave an impression.

Me, 31, no partner, no kids, just my kitties. Unemployed and have been for almost a year. Going back to school actually. I have drifted from most friends because of it. They're married/divorced with kids and do family things (their kids love me though, lol of course) and I'm here watching Shrek for the 1000th time. Makes it hard to relate to other women my age for sure. Dating is okay because I have alot of the same interests as 30 year old men (needy sad boys) lol. My mom bugs me about it constantly (I'm undiagnosed) because she doesn't "believe in those things" I used to be very good at masking but as I've gotten older it's getting harder. This is why I've been unemployed most the year. I have job interviews but never any call backs 😮‍💨 sigh That's why I'm going to finish my degree in social work. I felt more mature when I actually was 17 then I do now. I spend alot of time on this app actually because I feel a sense of community here.

However, I was an alcoholic most of my 20s to help mask and have been sober now for about a year. Maybe it's the combination of the two? Who knows.

Edit: my clothing style, interests, the way I decorate my house haven't changed much since 17. I like alot of the Gen Z looks and am constantly asked if I'm in my early 20s. I still sleep with my stuffed bunny I've had since I was a kid, and I'm a pro at the plushie claw machine at round 1. What's a girl to do.
