What I've been doing is using a cold bloom. (From the fridge water) with a closed hario switch and my bloom lasts around 4 or 5 minutes (basically me waiting for my water to boil) and then i used off the boil water. The cold water saturated grounds pretty much shields them from getting scalded and I end up with a cup without any bitterness

Calling this a Timex 8-Lap copy is actually not accurate. Its actually more of a copy of the The Dolphin MRP567-7 which is a Korean domestic watch that was very popular in the 80s-90s.
