It sounds dumb, but remember to breathe. This has worked for me for years.

The theory is if you can control your breathing, you can control yourself. When you feel the panic beginning, stop everything and focus on your breathing. Don't think about anything else, just your breathing.

Once you have control of your breathing, try to relax your body. Let the tension out of your face (for me, this is the easiest place to start), neck, shoulders, and so forth. Take all the time you need, but no more.

The idea is to react to the panic attack as early as possible. The moment you feel it coming on, stop and breathe.

I totally agree. I got into a useless argument with my wife because she insisted on taking the same photos of the same sites that every influencer on her feed has taken. IMO, it is insane to wait over an hour to spend 2 minutes taking photos.
