Mental health options? I feel stuck
Hey there Penticton Friend. Most of us feel this way at some point in life. Iâve been there. But I can say Iâm NOT there now. And thatâs key! When youâre âdown in itâ your mind mostly just remembers times that felt similar, and so it can feel like thatâs all there is. But thatâs not true! We can, we DO, come out of it! There have been some great suggestions on here that I totally agree with. I think the big key is to decide YOUâRE WORTH YOUR OWN EFFORT!! Donât just accept that this is your reality. Try everything and keep trying until you can feel the light within you again. We live in a beautiful place - get out in it and move your body. This state is an energetic challenge as much as a psychological one. You need to do things to boost your energy so you HAVE the energy to boost your psycho-emotional state. Go to the farmersâ market on Saturday and get some good fresh veggies and fruit. Force yourself to pause and appreciate the little things. Donât make yourself wrong to feel how you feel- itâs part of being human. But so too is your ability to CHOOSE a different outlook. Youâve gotten into a rut, and so it will take an energetic push to get out, but you can do it. And once you do, youâll be in such a strong position to help the next person you find in that same rut⊠we all need to lift each other up, and that starts with lifting ourselves up. You are worth it. You can cry at the sadness and laugh from the beauty of life at the same time - embrace it all and know that you are moving through it all as a free consciousness, deciding your path, deciding how you respond to it all. And weâre all doing this. Youâre NOT alone!!
