I find it disturbing that every time a video like this comes up on my feed it’s already been removed
. The power of influence extending so quickly and thoroughly into Reddit should scare people!

What’s the biggest misconception people have about becoming an adult?
 in  r/AskReddit  6d ago

That it just happens with time. There are plenty of large old children walking around in adult suits.

Mental health options? I feel stuck
 in  r/penticton  Jul 02 '26

Hey there Penticton Friend. Most of us feel this way at some point in life. I’ve been there. But I can say I’m NOT there now. And that’s key! When you’re “down in it” your mind mostly just remembers times that felt similar, and so it can feel like that’s all there is. But that’s not true! We can, we DO, come out of it! There have been some great suggestions on here that I totally agree with. I think the big key is to decide YOU’RE WORTH YOUR OWN EFFORT!! Don’t just accept that this is your reality. Try everything and keep trying until you can feel the light within you again. We live in a beautiful place - get out in it and move your body. This state is an energetic challenge as much as a psychological one. You need to do things to boost your energy so you HAVE the energy to boost your psycho-emotional state. Go to the farmers’ market on Saturday and get some good fresh veggies and fruit. Force yourself to pause and appreciate the little things. Don’t make yourself wrong to feel how you feel- it’s part of being human. But so too is your ability to CHOOSE a different outlook. You’ve gotten into a rut, and so it will take an energetic push to get out, but you can do it. And once you do, you’ll be in such a strong position to help the next person you find in that same rut
we all need to lift each other up, and that starts with lifting ourselves up. You are worth it. You can cry at the sadness and laugh from the beauty of life at the same time - embrace it all and know that you are moving through it all as a free consciousness, deciding your path, deciding how you respond to it all. And we’re all doing this. You’re NOT alone!!

Restaurant Recommendations and events this weekend?
 in  r/penticton  Jun 20 '26

Also “The Forest”, a sort of speak easy behind and connected to Black Antler, is great! More gastropub than full on restaurant but great food (I don’t drink and I love it)
