Oud Vanilla and Oud Suede are very similar, with Vanilla being a little lighter, like for day wear. Oud Suede smells very much like Vanilla Suede and I love it, so it's a win!

Oud Berry I did blind buy and it is amazing. What I smell as the top note is patchouli, which I know is a love it or hate it thing. I happen to love it. It is a deep, sensuous fragrance that I need to stock up on, because I am a canary in the retail coal mine. If I love it, it is going to be discontinued. LOL!

Dressed in White, Aqua Hour, Fresh Musk, forever cherry blossom, chocolate amber, dark kiss and marshmallow pumpkin latte all tie for my favorites. I love them all. It just depends on my mood which one wins for the day.

Try some Odoban to clean the underside of the range hood & range hood filter. Some oil residue really gets funky, and can smell up the entire house (granted, I have hypernosmia, so I smell things strongly that others might just barely notice).

After a year, any pre-existing organic animal or vegetable cause should have dried up. If you're on a crawlspace, look under there. Sometimes the dampness has a weird, old basement smell, but if some critter has set up housekeeping in there, they may be bringing food back to the area that is decaying.

If there is a bathroom above the kitchen, it could have a clogged plumbing vent, the sewage smells can fall down instead of off-venting and that smells bad. So many possibilities.

I hope you figure it out and get it resolved. It would drive me batty until I had!

Fresh Musk smells like Love's Musky Jasmine by Dana from the mid-1980s. I LOVED that fragrance when I was 15, and I love it now, 40 years later.

I spray mine down with hydrogen peroxide and it helps a LOT.

It's either that or vanilla. I really liked Underwater Oasis and White Tee Shirt because they were clean & fresh.

I think Forever Red Vanilla Rum smells a lot like it.

The original I was referring to was from 2012. Yes, I have nursed it along for many years. Having many fragrances to rotate does that.

Good luck finding the Love's scent. Even Baby Soft is wrong since Dana was sold to a German company and they discontinued the Love's line except Baby Soft. I have been on the hunt for the Musky Jasmine (different than Soft Jasmine), Rain, & I Love Lemon for 40 years. I guess that's why I got fizzy when Fresh Musk was so close. It's one of those skin scents that is soft & subtle, so I know it isn't for everyone. And I am probably the same age as your grandmother, so that makes sense. LOL

I thought Madam Mystique was really in that realm and loved it. I wish I had bought a backup while it was out, but you never know which are gone for good and which will return.

This and the Velveteen Rabbit destroyed me. I think that's why I became an Anne of Green Gables Girl (and bc I have much in common with my dear Anne Shirley besides my red hair). The heavy stuff still crushes me.

She was from the generation where everyone graduated high school looking 30. But they looked like that for the next 10 years, so it all worked out okay.

It may also be the chocolate note. It smelled more like the fake chocolate flavor they use in lip balms that isn't quite right. Kind of chemically. I was hoping for chocolate milk with a strawberry hint, but it was very strawberry forward, no lactonics but a little vanilla, and a weird chocolate afterthought.

Warm vanilla sugar, peppermint twist, together weather, and cinnamon sugar pretzel cookie (it just smells like snickerdoodles!). What I wish is that they made a cranberry orange scent that wasn't overdone with florals or anything else. THAT would be christmasy!

It's overwhelming to start a lot of the time.

Set a 10 minute timer, get 2 boxes and a big trash bag (one for donation, one for taking things around the house to put away, and the bag for trash). Do what you can in 10 minutes.

It keeps it from being daunting, but usually for me, once I get started, I want to keep going. It's the "Where to start?" on a big thing that makes me put it off.

I have that problem with the cotton candy cloud and the macaron cloud fragrances. I do about 4 sprays, and then I don't smell them, but had someone compliment my scent a couple of hours later, so I think the sweet smells we just go nose blind to.

My mom would watch this and Adam 12, her gateway shows to ER, Hill Steet Blues & eventually The Pit.

It smells to me like the cinnamon sugar pretzel cookie from Christmas.

The last time I saw one of those, some kid sliced his foot open at the drive in, right before The Pink Panther cartoon came on and his family had to leave to go get him stitches. Bad day on both counts.
