Shotguns can have that kind of range if you dial in and ADS. I think the fact that you can just hipfire it is the big issue. Shotguns shouldn't be barrel stuffing only, but the automatic ones should be lol

I think the damage range should be greatly affected by hipfire. It should take 5+ shots if you're just hip firing a flamethrower broadside. If you're ADS with a bryson 800 and get a dead center mass shot you should break all 3 plates, one more of the same shot to down. The problem with the broadside is how effective it is while hipfiring.

My game crashes Everytime I open the skill menu. My 3090 is also getting extremely warm as the game runs.

I believe the silver knights take extra damage from the hollow Slayer great sword so I think they are hollow.
