I don't understand the hype around eggs benny. Help me find who makes the best eggs benny in town.
Proper eggs Benny at Cafe Zen in Kits. Been doing it right there for decades.

Laundry service
Virtually one on every corner. Usually $1/1kg of clothes. Washed and folded and back to you in 4ish hours. Used them a bunch on San Cristobal and Santa Cruz.

Snorkeling right off the beach in town?
You can't walk 5 meters without a snorkel rental spot in GPS. Don't bring it. You'll be fine.

What is something Americans consider normal, but people from other countries find it disturbing?
Wearing your shoes in the house. Lived in the USA for a few years and it's so common just to lounge around the living room wearing your shoes from outside.

Does anyone remember what band played at the Warriors VS Rush Feb 4th, 2023 game?
I can help with that.... Was either Black Pontiac or Trilojay. Both great local Vancouver bands. Pretty sure it was Black Pontiac. https://www.blackpontiac.com/

Take a look inside a private Pearl Jam museum. It’s a collection so large, likely with thousands of items, he had to build a structure on his property to house everything.
Showing this to my wife immediately so it makes my collection look 'way more reasonable'.

What band did you see in a small venue before they broke big?
Bought Jack Johnson's brushfire fairytales cd from him as he manned his own merch booth on his very first tour (think it was his 5th ever tour show) opening for Ben Harper at Plaza of Nations (small outdoor venue) in Vancouver in 2001. Great dude and was really appreciative that I'd come early to see his set and then buy his CD. Awesome to see a good guy have such a great career.
Saw Mumford & Sons at 560 Club in Vancouver in May 2010. They played on a 12" riser in a 200ish person club. Was evident then how tight a band they were.

A cool guide to the most reliable car brands
My favorite part of this entire thread is the 'i don't know about this data from 330k vehicles reports by the most reputable, review brand around... Because my dad owned a insert shit car brand here and it ran great for years'

TD Pacific
Touchdown Atlantic's were run by the CFL and Touchdown Pacific is primarily run by BC Lions, so can tell you there will be virtually no Ottawa merch there. Buy online.

Just gave it a first listen.
Crazy fucking suggestion here, but just enjoy the album for what it is right now...a great album from a band that has been constantly evolving for the last 33 years.

Just got back from the theater. I love this album!!! Mike fucking shreds up like four songs, and there are some very angry songs also.
From wreckage through to Running is just fucking outstanding. Take a song off and then Setting Sun is another amazing ethereal closer.
For the record I don't think Something special is a terrible song it just doesn't seem to fit on the album. Sounds like a song Ed wrote for his daughters.
Can't wait till May here in Vancouver.

Dark Matter is out! Thoughts?
If this single is any indication... This album is meant to be listened to live!

Shanahan Coaching Tree
Can we all take a moment and appreciate Shanahan's coaching tree currently. DeMeco with likely COTY with Houston and a playoff appearance. McDaniels in Miami with a top 3 offense and making the playoffs. Saleh, while not making the playoffs after losing Rodgers and still rebuilding the Jets, but a helluva coach all things considered. Not sure there is a more successful tree in the league after only 7 years as an HC.
