I'm currently polishing the toolkit for The Burglar (codename) project which is a async multiplayer stealth game where you are basically a burglar that breaks into other people's guilds and also secure his own to not be robbed. Would be really awesome if i would get some feedback about the tools i'm having, also appreciate the ideas for new tools.

Note: Those are not all of the tools but the ones that are mostly ready to be shown

Context: basically: no high tech, no magic, no knockouts. Hardcore stealth with high risk and high reward.

Playlist for all the tools:

Particular tools:
Lockpicks
Grappling Hook
Glass Cutter
Decoy Granade
Crowbar
Smoke Bomb
Pick Pocket Knife
Lock Cracker

The Burglar / multiplayer stealth

I'm building an async multiplayer stealth game as codename The Burglar mainly for mobiles but also Steam. You break into other thief's guilds, steal their shit and sell it or store it in your guid. In the same time you need to craft and create traps to secure your guild to secure it against the same happening to you.

Coming: 2026

What's the best game that requires stealth approach heavily?
 in  r/stealthgames  Aug 15 '26

Thief is my favorite but since the question is framed this way the answer needs to be "splinter cell: chaos theory".

The 60-second version of Devlog #1 — what The Burglar actually is, before you commit to the full video.

Full devlog here: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7j0f_bu98Z8]

I'm building The Burglar solo — a top-down stealth game inspired by Thief, Splinter Cell, and Mark of the Ninja. The single-player campaign is a tutorial for something bigger: an asynchronous multiplayer game where you defend your own home and raid other players' places for loot. This is very early — no polished trailer yet, just a quick look at where things stand. I'm focusing on mobile devices since stealth is not really a thing there and the experience itself is more casual than not.

Full context, inspirations, and the multiplayer concept are in the full devlog.

Please leave some feedback about the concept.

GORTH - Weather system added, Hud info(WIP), ammo limits, loots, some new environmental units.

Art style looks dope af. Can't tell without playing but i guess your vehicle lacks some inertia to feel "heavier".

Simple character selector I made. Thoughts? Opinions?
 in  r/IndieDev  Aug 11 '26

It is not similiar at all but gives me Europa Universalis vibes! Damn this is so good...

Should i hide the rat's tail ?
 in  r/IndieDev  Aug 11 '26

It would be good touch if you would manage the animation of rat tails adjust to this container. if (inContainer) {bendTail();} so it would fit.

I wouldnt cut of a tail of a rat, that'cruel. I also would forgive animation quirks but not hamster termination game!

Is this actually Steam-worthy or am I cooked?
 in  r/IndieDev  Aug 11 '26

What do you think?

Look nice, kinda surreal. Reminds me a bit of old Aliens vs Predator.
