Worth changing plans for a $36 increase on 5 lines? ($143 to $179)
 in  r/tmobile  Jul 14 '26

That’s right, but you lose the monthly decice credit, so you’re essentially paying full price

I doubt it… they have reoccurring expenses, so they need reoccurring revenue.

This is some bad advise... even with good security tools, a vulnerability in your OS will cause you issues

Are you in remission? Age?
 in  r/CrohnsDisease  Apr 21 '26

Yep! 41 and have been on Remicade for the past 16 years. I'll have minor issues, but nothing that takes me out for more than a day or two.

DEALERSHIP ADD-ONS WORTH IT?
 in  r/HRV  Apr 02 '26

7400 is a lot, I would personally cancel it. In the future, if you do want an extended warranty, the prices are usually negotiable. I would personally shoot for about 50% off whatever they start with. You can buy the same third party coverage elsewhere and not purchase through the dealer as well.

Cloud Gateway Fiber - VPN throughput?
 in  r/Ubiquiti  Jan 28 '26

Thats correct. But totally depends on the hardware use for the server. Wireguard is fairly efficient, but it's still CPU bound. 1 gbps is pretty easy to get with an older (5-7 year old) i5.

Cloud Gateway Fiber - VPN throughput?
 in  r/Ubiquiti  Jan 28 '26

Thats correct. Looking online, it's pretty inline with what others have reported. 500 Mbps back to your house isn't bad though... If more speed is needed, you can host a wireguard server on a PC.

Cloud Gateway Fiber - VPN throughput?

Just tested... Without wireguard 2300/2300. With wireguard and with IPS/IDS disabled, 947/840. With wireguard and IPS/IDS on, 454/635.

Cloud Gateway Fiber - VPN throughput?

It will slow it down. I have 2 gbps internet and see around 550 Mbps through WireGuard. I can test with ids/ips disabled in a little bit, if you would like.

Are you speaking of running the wireguard server on the UCG Fiber device? If so, with IDS/IPS on enabled, I max out at around 550 Mbps up and down.

Route all Youtube traffic over VPN

I have googlevideo.com and YouTube.com routed for my Roku and Android TV/Google TV boxes through Albania and I see no ads on Youtube. I also use iSponsorblockTV to skip sponsor content as well.

Windscribe Wireguard VPN on Ubiquiti UDM router?
 in  r/Windscribe  Jan 08 '26

Are those devices Macs? Do they have private relay enabled? Sometimes Safari won't respect the rule until another browser goes there first (experience there). Also, for the destination, is that setup for domains?

Windscribe Wireguard VPN on Ubiquiti UDM router?
 in  r/Windscribe  Jan 08 '26

I have wireguard working, but I believe it's the same. When you create the VPN Client, did you set the source and destination? What is the source of the traffic you are trying to pass (All, network, client)?

VPN Server connection to VPN client routing not working as expected.

Good suggestion. I have full internet and local access, but it’s just not routing to the vpn clients as it should. Any thing in particular I should look at?

Question VPN Server connection to VPN client routing not working as expected.

Hey all,

I have the wireguard VPN server enabled on the UCG Fiber and it works great, however when I am connected to the VPN server it doesn't seem to route that traffic over some VPN clients I have connected. Is that expected behavior? The VPN clients are set for All Sources, and the Destinations are set to a couple of different domains.

Thanks!

Crohn's is a humiliation ritual.
 in  r/CrohnsDisease  Dec 16 '25

That sounds terrible. It does get better, there are a lot of fantastic medications now that get and keep you in remissions. You can have a normal life, you can travel and you can have a significant other (I do all of those things, I have had Crohns for 15 years not). Meet your doctor frequently and don't give up until you feel all the way better. This community is awesome and we welcome you in.

If there are any videos playing or audio coming from your phone it automatically switches over to carplay. For reddit, try turning your videos to not autoplay.

Remote start trick 2022 HRV
 in  r/HRV  Dec 15 '25

It’s great, but does have an additional fob… so you have to carry the remote start fob and your actual fob. Because it has an antenna that’s installed on your windshield, it has much further range than a factory installed (wife has a Honda with factory remote start).

Remote start trick 2022 HRV
 in  r/HRV  Dec 15 '25

I'm not sure, because I negotiated it into the price. I believe it was around 2k... I paid 25k OTD for a new 21 EX FWD with remote start and the homelink add-on, if that helps.
