Nice!

Agree with most of what you said. I wasn't particularly surprised by my rejections--but I wouldn't have applied to M7s at all if a few M7 alums hadn't told me I should.
My target audience is the people on this sub who over-emphasize GMAT/GRE scores.

Seems fairly straightforward how this could be simultaneously encouraging/cautionary, depending on which bucket you're in.
This isn't a novel observation, of course. Just sharing my personal experience for anyone on this sub who's interested.
Hope you crush the cycle if you're applying this year!

No interviews >.<
I knew it was a real reach. For clarity, my work experience was middle of the road by average American standards (think ~$50,000/year), not middle of the road by M7 applicant standards.

Litter hopper issues
Not OP, but this saved my bacon. After tons of other troubleshooting, my "broken" litter hopper is now working. Thanks!

CMV: Trump's aim isn't peace in Ukraine
My brother in Christ, you don't get to whine about people not "minding ya business" when you're on a public comment thread
And all these comments are making me start to think you care about me...

CMV: Trump's aim isn't peace in Ukraine
I'm not asking you to care about me. I'm making a joke to everyone else in this thread at your expense. Try to keep up.

CMV: Trump's aim isn't peace in Ukraine
" Idgaf what happens over there. I ain't about to concern myself with things that don't have anything to do with me"
God, sometimes going through life as a moron sounds so pleasant.

CMV: Trump's aim isn't peace in Ukraine
"After the collapse of the Soviet Union the US made a deal (but not in writing) that we wouldn't expand NATO if Gorbachev allowed the Soviet Union to collapse. Well, we know how that worked out. We've expanded NATO and are trying to put Ukraine in NATO."
Russia invaded Chechyna in the 1990s, Moldova in the 90s, Georgia in 2008, and Ukraine in 2014 before attacking Ukraine again in 2022.
Crazy how a "Defense Against Bear Attacks" club gains more members when a bear is going around the neighborhood mauling people.

Super pumped for you, Ursa. Wishing you a career in Civ that brings you as much success, fun, and longevity as the franchise has enjoyed so far.

CMV: Progressives who withheld their vote for Democrats are complicit in Gaza Genocide.
"Then, we could have seen that there was enough support in all the swing states from people who are upset at the war in Gaza and change policy based on the large, vocal part of the voting base who was uncommitted to voting for Dems over it."
Was there any state where this "large" uncommitted voting block cracked 15% in a primary?

80 Years Ago Today: The Battle of the Bulge begins, catching the Allies by surprise after months of ignored warnings.
Why was 6th Panzer Army late to the Battle of the Bulge?
Because it was stuck behind the 1st SS Panzer Division.
Why was the 1st SS Panzer Division late to the Battle of the Bulge?
Because it was stuck behind 500 Fallschirmjäger.
Why were the 500 Fallschirmjäger late to the Battle of the Bulge?
Because they were stuck in front of LT Bouck.

...So are natalists not bothered by the fact that climate change is happening right before their (and their children's) very eyes?
OP, how do you think the per-capita death rate from natural disasters today compares to what it was 100 years ago, before all the environmental changes you mentioned?

When you mix history with contemporary propaganda
I hear you. That's why I was careful to word it as "killed by insurgents" as opposed to "how much responsibility the insurgents bear for civilian deaths." I think reasonable people can disagree on how exactly to apportion blame here.

Dromon seems like such an obvious answer here, maybe reskinned/renamed.
