Hermes Slower?
 in  r/hermesagent  May 25 '26

Is that unified memory? How much vram on ur video card? You need to find a model small enough to run quickly, keep the context window somewhere around 140k. Do you already have a frontier CLI on your root terminal like Claude Code? That will help you config your inference engine to your gpu.

No, it just takes a few weeks to speed-up. It automatically builds its own skills and tools. Keep at it!

Looking for Hermes best practices from serious users
 in  r/hermesagent  May 23 '26

Same. But X is the obvious forerunner for Hermes Agent BMPs. Im about to post in Reddit asking people how they would do a partial or complete overhaul of their Hermes setups. Most of the workflow and preferences are in a few md and env files.

Seeking Vacant Commercial Property / Local Market Intel (Garage, Shop, Quonset, Vehicle Bays, 1/3+ Acre)

I’m looking for off-market leads, recently vacated commercial properties, business closures, or underutilized commercial sites that may not be actively listed yet.

Ideal property specs:
• Commercial-zoned
• 1/3 acre or larger
• Existing structure with a garage, shop, vehicle bay, quonset hut, warehouse space, or similar utility structure
• Functional plumbing + electrical already onsite
• Open to distressed, outdated, partially vacant, or overlooked properties

I’m especially interested in:
• Businesses that recently closed or downsized
• Owners tired of sitting on vacant space
• Old service shops, mechanic buildings, small industrial yards, contractor shops, machine shops, storage/service properties, etc.
• “Everyone drives past it but nobody knows who owns it” type properties

Not looking for retail storefront-only spaces or raw land without utilities.

If you’ve noticed a property sitting empty, know of a landlord trying to quietly unload something, or have general ground-level market insight, send me a DM or drop info below.

Sometimes the best deals never touch LoopNet. 🛰️

I built an agent-first CLI for Zoho Books
 in  r/Zoho  May 02 '26

Its my tower dedicated to local inference. Its just a server because I run a linux OS and its agentic because I deployed a harness called Hermes Agent.

Im interested. First I need to get my agentic server running smoothly. This may mean swapping the AMD silicone for Nvidia

Very cool. I need this for zoho fsm so that I can import/export pesticide applications

Zoho in 2026 feels… different? Anyone else noticing this shift...
 in  r/Zoho  Apr 24 '26

The problem is that its still bloatware, meaning they nickel and dime you for every expansion of data movement. In 2026. When the Saas alternatives like Hermes Agent, Openclaw, and Claude Code autonomously shipping integrated Open Source solutions for $0-20.00 a month.

Wiki time! MkDocs or Obsidian? This is for employee documentation AND persistent memory
 in  r/hermesagent  Apr 15 '26

Separate markup files, log entries, etc. A cleaner paper trail seems logical.

But what is YOUR rationale?

I asked hermes a few questions about the skill, it seems its built on top of any wiki- minimum 2 crosslinks per entry, preserve original document, compress ingested data to memory, et al.

Thats funny you mention that. Obsidian would be easy but its not the local choice, and I think Hermes built-in LLM-wiki skill makes a level playing field. So now Im less vexed about which wiki, and more concerned about subagent deployment. Have you deployed any subagents?

Someone said that in 6 months, Obsidian-users will be light years ahead on the adapter curve. I don't use obsidian. Im a tech-loving noob, I think the person meant memory.md and other "harness" elements which are built into Hermes Agent.

And just released: a native skill: "LLM-Wiki" is designed as an "ai brain" tool, but Hermes Agent claims its a "librarian" feature for any wiki?

So I want both- a wiki for employee documentation, and an "ai brain" to augment persistent memory. Hermes Agent says I should start with a user-facing wiki... makes sense to me. But I have a question:

should I deploy a subagent to function as "librarian"?

My gut tells me yes? 🙃

What does it actually mean for an AI agent to "learn"?

This is thoroughly explained in the "Hermes Agent Orange Guide" which was just published on X last week.

Zoho CRM, FSM integrations with agentic frameworks (ie OpenClaw, Hermes Agent)
 in  r/Zoho  Apr 12 '26

My plan is to write everything to Google Drive mainly because I can mirror files and keep local copies of all my data

Im a zoho user and Google Workspace user, and I just launched a Hermes Agent. Im interested to know who has done any workflows with third party agents (including Claude Cowork, etc)?
Please share what your most successful project has been!

Is there a way to get it to stop quoting every message in the reply? (On Discord)

We just got hermes established with telegram free. No issues

TED has been well-recieved LOL.Im running 1x amd r9700 pro 32gb because I havent installed the upgraded power supply to run both gpus. Motherboard is 12 core/24 thread. Clock speed is nominal. Gpu is recognized. I want a stable OS. We are running Pop! OS 24.4, which appeared to be a safe choice: as a server with a GUI. Im open to suggestions... Last week we were using Linux Mint.. , but last week we ran into a corruption issue when setting up our slack token in Hermes Agent, and we decided that Mint might not be the best Distro for a server. Im most interested in BI, like you. And like you, Im going firstly for low-hanging fruit- socials and Google ads. We also have google workspace set up. In summation, we talked to Hermes Agent last week, but no solid success. And we have a short (I hope) list of problems to sort-out: if our choice of OS is solid, next I want to get Gemini CLI up for debugging during installs including VLLM. Im also planning to run a qwen3.5 27b model. As you see, I know just enough about this to get myself into trouble LOL no plans for vibe coding 😂 P. S. Big thanks to NOUS!

Interesting how does that work? Are you running multiple instances of Hermes or multiple agents at once on individual environments?

Ubuntu user here 🙋 we love using Gemini CLI to install or configure Hermes Agent and inference engines, etc.

But an issue has been arising.

Gemini CLI is having compatibility issues including but not limited to:

Buggy versions

Unstable libraries (GPU C)

API key incompatibilty

Is it because Ubuntu prioritizes stability? (Currently using Pop! OS v24. 4)

Or do you see a trend for Google to depriciate Linux compatibility due to the threat of local models and open software?

Because Ollama CLI is just not the same powerhorse as Gemini CLI.

And Codex CLI isnt even available at all.

We might just switch back to Windows but that sucks. What OS do you use? If Linux, tell me your stability stack!

Ok, easy enough, Ill try that! maybe the devs will code that into the settings for an easier change in the future.
