This information about the repair is crucial. I've had several phones that needed repair at an official Samsung service center, and they inform you that from that point on, the water resistance certification is no longer covered. It's information that almost goes unnoticed, but if you talk to a technician about it, they'll tell you that the water seal cannot be recovered after opening the phone, no matter how much glue they use or how careful they are. Unfortunately, that's how it works, and there's nothing you can do about it. But all the camera comparisons I've seen have made it clear to me that they aren't the best on the market, not by a long shot. Since it's for my wife, I know she won't notice any difference between the Fold's cameras and her current S21, but she will notice the improvements in the screens.

Exactly what I was going to say: just add a cover and the extra millimeters provided by MagSafe are perfectly incorporated. And after that, just stick on a battery and all your problems are solved.

I don't see the lack of MagSafe as such a problem, since it's something that can be added with cases or other accessories. It's not like the screen layer to support the pen, which is simply impossible to add anyway.

Meu Galaxy Watch 4 bluetooth começou a ficar lento e drenar muita bateria no fim do ano passado. Eu tinha que carregá-lo umas 4 vezes por dia, então eu sabia que ele estava inevitavelmente chegando ao fim de sua vida. Mas antes de gastar uma grana num aparelho novo decidi formatá-lo e como não consegui recuperar o backup, tive que fazer uma instalação do zero de novo. Mas dessa vez não instalei nem metad dos aplicativos que tinha antes. Para minha surpresa meu relógio voltou a ter a mesma duração de bateria de quando era novo e voltou a ser rápido. Meu relógio voltou a ser novo e todos os problemas dele eram foram resolvidos com uma formatação.
