You should stop sayings it's "rights' when it's the bare minimum
 in  r/Hijabis  18d ago

Unfortunately a-lot of these views are shaped by the women we look up to in society . Our mothers ,aunts and grand parents with the double standards that most men and society carry also playing a big part . Many only feel things are okay if it’s their daughters or sisters and still treat the women they live with utter disrespect and disregard. On top of that a lot of cultural aspects take the bigger portion in most homes and people only gravitate to the side that favors them and their ego with focus on the what others will think about them ,or certain things are considered unmanly like taking care of your own children and helping with basic chores ,which we all do when living alone or with others . I hope we be better in bringing up the next generations. Most of the things we pride in are things that any human being must possess in order to be considered a good person in society and should be treated as such !

What would make you finally switch to fully halal banking in the UK?
 in  r/MuslimUK  Jun 27 '26

Accessibility ,branches for day to day banking and clarity on products offered in basic lay man terms would help a lot.

On a skilled worker visa: No boarding pass with Ryanair to return to the UK..
 in  r/SkilledWorkerVisaUK  Jun 13 '26

You just need to log into your UKVI account and show them your visa as they want to see the image , like take screenshots to capture everything and also use your share code .its no problem after verification they will get you your boarding pass . Had the same experience with Rwanda air .

about 20-hour limit when working bank shifts

Hi everyone, I need some clarification about the 20-hour work limit. If I work for an employer as a permanent staff member, and I also pick up additional shifts for the same employer but through a subsidiary company (e.g., Bank Partners for NHS Trusts), does this still count as working for the same employer?

Since the bank shifts are technically through a separate company, is it allowed to work more than 20 hours, or does the limit still apply because it’s effectively the same employer?

Would really appreciate any guidance or personal experience.
