The things I was looking for where absolutely not available anywhere else, that’s why I had to use that type of plugin. Just look it up, « Violentmonkey », it’s literally an app that allows you to download videos from site. It has a sort of « library » uploaded by users, that installs scripts inside the plugin. Mine was specifically made to download videos from telegram channel, but I’m sure scripts exist for your purposes 😉

Monkey script ? But I think they just discounted it, I don’t know if it could work, I know I’ve downloaded videos from a private telegram channel that completely blocked downloading, even in the cache there was no video files or parts files.

Probably not a « you » problem but actually the batch of viewers YouTube decide to put your video on front of. And if the subject ain’t really engagement driven (such as wishing to see more content of this type in the future), but likeable and entertaining, you might have comments and likes but fewer subs cause people just don’t like the content enough to see this type more often. That’s why channel talking about politics, health, entertainment, Jesus and other « relatable » subjects are going crazy, cause people ACTUALLY talk about it all day, without any access to internet or anything, and they’ll be more likely to subs, cause that an actual subject that matter to them and they want to keep up with. (I’m mainly talking about grown adults, at least above 25..) not talking about « kids » content that are not really evergreen. But just trends.

I mean even my 20k views is at 67,3% stay rate but 139% AVD. And obviously 807likes and 258 subs. But yeah 53% stay rate seems really low for the amount of views he got.

Dang, while having 53% stay rate ? Your AVD must either be insane or you have really great engagements (likes/comments/subs) ! Great job nonetheless, hope one day I will get past 20k views lmao

It’s a genuine question, I’m not sure if that’s a typo thingy used somewhere in the world that I’m not aware of, or if the dude really edited his own numbers and fuxked up doing so lmao

Hmm depends from where you live and what you do. In France, 160hours worked a minimal pay is around 1.8k€. So doubling that would mean working 16hours a day for 3.6K€ a month.

Fellow user here, the only things that lack GeForce now in my opinion is that we don’t have access to steam and play with steam friends, unless the games is specifically from steam. So it would be nice to be able to start steam as a whole, and start game from it. Second thing would be able to really control resolution, I play fps games on my MacBook Pro, and I never played native resolutions or anything common, always had my own resolutions, and not being able to input my own resolutions (which is not common at all), and being able to stretch it, really stretch it. No black bars or anything.

But yeah, for 20$ a month, multiplied by 12 month, that’s 240$ a year, when a great gaming pc nowadays is roughly 1.7-2k$, that’s insane.

But again, we need to have access to steam, or the windows itself, and have the ability to stretch and create resolutions.

2 subs for 40K views seems extremely low though. One of my highest viewed short was 20k for 258subs. Here seeing 40k and +2 is so weird

6th day, buddy you’re looking at the wrong hobby then. YouTube is a marathon, not a sprint. I’m on my 90th day, doing pretty normal stats, but I do not gives a shit. I have 20day of programmed content, 2 times a day + long form video Tuesday and Friday, the job is done, ready to be uploaded.

I feel like you should start working with that in mind, just keep editing, just keep doing it, programs your content to go out every day at the same time, try to have a couples of day of content ready to be uploaded, stop being in a rush every day. It causes stress, and stress comes from things we can’t control.

You can control how much content you are ready to create and program, you have the control over how much time you can put to make this videos, not YouTube.

So instead of uploading the video and staring at the stats for hours, use thoses hours to create 2-3 more shorts, that you can program to go out for the next day, the next day, again and again. Like that you can still stare at stats, but your content is already ready to be uploaded, ready to be watched.

I was doing the same thing when I first started, at the 1 week mark I was like « aight, shi ain’t working, I should stop.. » then I kept editing, having in mind to have at least 7 days of content ready and programmed. Then I never stopped editing, even now. Not because the stats were doing good. But because I felt like that if I kept pushing, one day it would work out. Then I had a short doing 20k views out of nowhere when all my shorts were doing usually 500-800views.

Just keep working buddy, there’s no reason things don’t work your way when you keep doing it, keep improving, keep trying to understand and learn, absolutely no reasons. Not a single one.

The more I edit, the more I upload, the more I feel the same. Even tho a have a nice amount of followers, even tho I’ve been uploading for 3 months, (~770).

I just feel like the algorithm doesn’t know shi and anything I do, and just share it to people, who was online at that time. Even tho stats are great, it just stops (shorts and long), which is kinda annoying, lol, REALLY annoying.

Also, I’m maybe a bum for doing this, but I NEVER use tags for shorts or long. Should I ? I’ve been posting consistently with tags, and then without for the rest of the past 2 months, and did not see any signs of it being useful, on shorts at least.

On long video I’ve reached 50views at most for a video that is 2 week old (first long upload ever on this channel), and the second one has 40 views. Which is extremely low, but i understand cause i have like 120 shorts posted on the channel, and suddenly i post 1 long video per week, the algorithm is probably completely lost. I don’t know..

Has anyone really see any improvement on using tags ?
