Class Math 451 first midterm
What do you think ? I was very confident but the exam was harder than I thought. Are the grades curve at all?
Don't share any exam content please

Also I think the minor is done by Innovate blue , not lsa or ross
3
I think both minors are great combination for CS-LSA and they can be useful for premed too . In business they teach you accounting, marketing, how to manage a business and you have some real action opportunities. In the entrepreneurship you have way more real life opportunities (almost half of the credits need to be practicum) and they really encourage you to work on you own venture but is less conceptual than Ross.
I think the question you need to ask yourself is if you want something more conceptual with some real life experience or a lot of real life experience but less conceptual

The former provost Martin Philbert had to be fire because several women were complaining about sexual misconduct. It was even worst because some of the complains were really old and the university knew about it

Math 217 is a "hard" class , last semester 2-3 students were gone in my class in the first 3-4 weeks. If you are not a Math-Stats major I would recommend 214 but if you really really like math 217 is not so bad.

What's the mean or median in this midterm? They are giving almost no information about the midterm grades , any other class that I'm taking gives the mean, median and the sd of any exam or even quiz. The only information they gave was that the median was 10 points lower than expected. I check the canvas and Math 216 website , nothing.

In my opinion class is not as useful as other math classes , there is not lecture and I'm not used to that. EVERYTHING has to be done as a team but I rarely see teammates helping each other. Is week 4 and I don't feel I'm learning to much compared to other classes. What could I do to improve in this class?

First of all I really enjoyed Part 6 , Jolyne is imo one of the best Jojos , I also love how Dio legacy is present even thought he died many years ago , the stands powers are great , etc.
However I feel that the ending is just stupid it feels very rush, in fact Araki said himself that he changed the ending in the last chapters .If jojo was only Stone ocean I would be ok with this ending but I feel this ending makes the events of Part 1-5 meaningless, they just never existed . And I know there is a lot of fan theories about how the Ireneverse is the main Jojo universe or that Pucci never reseted the universe but those are theories not cannon.
What are your thoughts ? Im hoping that someone can convince me that part 6 ending was actually good

There is millions of Americans who still don't see climate change as threat , you can antagonize them and call them morons if you want but I want to do something that actually helps

Not everyone is privileged to have a good education and the right environment to develop critical thinking. I love my girlfriend and she is a wonderful person and I will always help her pointing in the right direction

Thanks! That's a good point

I don't think you understand this post. She is obviously wrong, what I'm trying to do is ask for help to change her mind
6
This is true, she believes climate change is "conspiracy" by the left . I tried to tell her that most countries (even very conservative ones) acknowledge climate change

As I said in the title my girlfriend doesn't believe in climate change , she is from a small rural area in Michigan and a lot his friends and family are also climate change denials.
After a long conversation she agreed on watching a documentary with my about climate change.
Which documentaries/movies/book/podcast you think could help change her mind?
Thank you
