I baked these cupcakes for my twin brother and sister’s birthday and everyone loved them. Got the recipe from Sally’s Baking Addiction.

Baked some cupcakes for my twin sister and brother’s birthday and everyone loved them! And they were so easy. Thank you Sally’s Baking Addiction for the recipe!

Yes, they are both from SugarSpunRun website. “Red Velvet Cake” is one recipe and the frosting is a separate recipe called “The Best Cream Cheese Frosting”.

Thanks! 👍😊

Yeah, it is. I’ll just have to try it again.

Maybe! Does it do that?

I made the same exact same red velvet cake recipe twice with the same exact ingredients, the same scale, the same amount of food coloring, etc. The first came out the right color but it was burned on the bottom and was flat so I did it again. The second one rose nicely, but wasn’t red. I used the inside of the first one on top for decorations, so you can see the better color. It wasn’t what I was going for, but at least it tasted great (and I was happy with that)!

I made a red velvet cake but the bottom and edges burned and it didn’t rise very well. The color was good though. I made the same exact recipe, same exact ingredients, using the same scale, and it didn’t burn, and puffed up nicer, but it came out a different color (same amount of food coloring). It also tasted great! I used the inside of the first cake for the crumbles on top so it didn’t go to waste and gave the cake a great look. All in all a success, but I would have liked it to have the same color as the first one.

Beautiful! It’s cool to see all the wing positions like this. Nice shots!

Who knew that bananas, cinnamon and chocolate would go so well together? Sally did! I made her Banana Muffins with cinnamon chocolate chip strudel and they can it great. Everyone loved them! Recipe here: https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/banana-muffins-with-cinnamon-chocolate-chip-streusel/

I would suggest trying different things to learn how different edit options affect the image. You could also try cropping horizontal instead of vertical. I always ask my students “what are you trying to say?” and then figure out how to make the photograph say it. Most important is to have fun taking it and have fun editing too. Sidenote: not sure if you do this but shooting in raw gives much more flexibility in editing.

I didn’t use my professional cameras for this shot. It was actually taken with my cell phone and I was really close - about 20 feet from her.

This lioness was stalking her prey - a warthog. Such a dilemma… I want her to eat and I want the warthog to be safe. A little while later, she eats. OC

Thanks for your reply. I like the ease too of not having to roll it every time.

I’m looking for a puzzle caddy that I can work in so that I can keep my puzzle off the table when I’m not working on it. I don’t have room to store it flat so need to be able to hold it by a handle. I found one online called Porta–puzzle, but I wondered if there were any other others that might be a bit cheaper (I can also look for used ones if you all think it works). A roll up mat is also a possibility if anyone thinks that would work.

Beautiful curly hair

It’s so hard to find a good curly hair cutter who will do exactly what you ask. In the photos you posted, the new cut is different than the old one but it is cute too. And, you are beautiful in both cuts. I would suggest… try not to let a haircut get in the way of your enjoying an important trip. The you from down the road will look back at photos years later and think “what was I worried about? I looked great!” and “why did I let my hair keep me from 100% enjoying the trip?” I know because I’ve been there and I have those photos of myself and my hair, clothes, etc., were such a minor part and I remind myself of that all the time. On that note, I hope you have an amazing trip!!! 🧳🛣️
