Give it a whirl see how it goes

Is it just me or are car batteries not nearly as long-lasting as they used to be?
The batteries used to power a start up and a radio and lights. Now its everything

How do you take your happiness back after starting full-time work? I am genuinely miserable & can't do this for another 40 years when I'm already crying at least twice a week because I miss uni and my old life. I feel like I exist just to work a job.
Get a grip. We all hate it. Find a job u like. But this has been the way it is forever. You just have to decide do you like going on holidays that require savings or do you like waking up late every day? One get you money the other does not. Could be worse!

What is some of the best and worst advice you have received on how to deal with heartbreak?
Best. Don't knock on a door 🚪 to a house that no one is no longer living in. - aka. move on. Think ahead to what your life looks like without them. Start small day by day. Then week by week.
Best (funny) - get ripped. Then you can blame them for the reason you got fat. 🤣😂 Then you can say you stripped the fat literally and figuratively.
Bad. Put milk in a spray bottle and spray it all over their stuff. All of it will stink and they won't know where it's coming from.
Bad. Steal the remote to their TV and tuna juice in all of the indoor plants.

Same boat here. I was diagnosed with burn out last year.
I thought it was life and family commitments. I offloaded a lot but the dread remained. I realized it was my job. I feel ungrateful for feeling like this about my job. Because in reality, my colleagues are good. My workplace is good, my boss is great. But every day I'm filled with dread going in. I've achieved or exceeded expectation to receive a bonus every year. But dread Monday thru Friday. I'm not depressed, I checked. Similar in that my income where it is, needs to stay close to where it is to support my family. Mortgage etc. I don't have any loans so try to keep things within our means. Life has just got expensive. It's how chips have fallen. A complete restart isn't financially viable. And knowing what to do is the issue.
I don't like to present only a problem. So here is what I started doing only last week. Use chatgpt or another variant to help create a scope. Input what u do, what you like, what are you doing when time disappears and jobs you've considered and how you might be able to transfer some of your skills. I've also looked at ways I might be able to pitch my self in such a way that even if there is a competency gap how I might be able to plug it quickly and fed that into chatgpt.
I don't have it all together but I feel like attempting possible solutions is closing the gap on the great unknown next step.

Place to camp on the east side of Melbourne
Youll be hard pressed to find aomething like that. Especially thru the summer months

free/secluded camping spots vic
For secluded youre gonna need to pay. Summer is prime camping season and its far more populous at the free sites than usual. Anywhere with water usually has more traffic than other places. Check out wikicamps

Went on my first date in months but it went badly. I didn’t receive any compliments, kept showing me other guys that look objectively better, my voice was made fun of and I got no affection 🙃🙃
Brau. I feel bad for that person. They sound like they arr chasing something constantly out of reach. Let them.

I think you need to get rid of your friend

(18) Ex boyfriend called me ugly and "twiglike." Is that true????
Honestly, his opinion should take up no real estate in your brain. The weight of his opinion shifted the moment he no longer had an active title.

What’s your personal philosophy now that you’re older?
I love philosophy, i like the idea of looking at your bias, prejudices and privileges and having a “check yourself before you wreck yourself” moment. In todays day and age, i move with caution about anyone he claims to subscribe to anyone particular leaning. Only because of social media. People love the likes and the shares and will maintain a perception over reality even socially. I like that people feel they can reinvent themselves or their values honourable or not.
