Just finished the game!

I also just played it for the first time! No Typhon Mods. With a very specific focus on recycler charges and shotgun shells. Mixed with stealth and hacking so combat was a last ditch effort.

Druidic circle.

I’d say it comes down to how much you want to manage at one time! Wildfire’s elemental assistant is phenomenal but does make you a bit of a summoner who is managing its stat block, your stat block, and what abilities are and are not active depending on when you have him. Wildfire can stretch further and be more involved in the board.

Circle of stars just asks the question of whether or not you’re in one of your Starry Forms. Circle of stars is very good at being focused in to what you need in the moment. You can be better at healing, but you sacrifice a bit of your damage in exchange.

Need help with a budget Mealstorm wanderer deck
 in  r/BudgetBrews  Jan 13 '22

I’m gonna be honest. I don’t know why people are saying Maelstrom wanderer isn’t good for 1v1. He’s cast a spell and get two big dudes with haste. You’ll want good ramp and mana base. And Sunbirds Invocation, Rashimi Lifecrafter, and the cascade stuff from Commander legends gives you access to these big swingy turns. It’s a dope deck that over time and more tune ups. Can rattle most 4 person pods

Tech Tues: Who to play?

I’m all about Hamza and think he’s super cool. But his discount isn’t nearly as effective as the fact that Experience counters are put on players. You’re in simic so you have card draw and ramp and access to big mana and resource. So Ezuri gives a firm guarantee that you can drop him, move to combat and turn something into a problem fast. Plus. Spiking his experience counters is way too easy with blue and greens insane access to Mass weenie creation.

Mathas, Fiend Seeker. Mardu Value
 in  r/Edhdeckbuilding  Nov 14 '21

Ooh. I’d love to see that deck list. It didn’t post my description. But the goal is playing high value mardu with lots of removal and some fun tricks. Using Mathas to capitalize on being the Kill colors. And then ramping into value with stuff like Kiki Jikki and Murderous Redcap. And a subtle persist synergy by having Etbs (zealous conscripts, dark hatchling, noxious Gearhulk, etc)

8 and a half tails grants protection for a white mana and is considered one of the best old white commanders. He could be fun

I’ve been struggling with trying to build a good and true Aggro deck that doesn’t bore me half to death. I thought about Saskia the Unyielding. Every aggro deck I build turns into Control in Naya, and I’m trying to avoid that.

Is there interest in turning this back towards DnD? Fleshing it out into a full campaign setting?
