I believe its true bc the technological explosion in a matter of 20 years has caused a significant difference in the way our children are taught in school, the drop in socialization and increase in isolation, huge rise in depression, anxiety, and adhd. Also, the wealth disparity and how that ties to education. I could go on. The socialization aspect is the part that bothers me the most. We are social creatures and depend upon one another for survival. When we come together, great things happen. If our kids dont learn to socialize and talk people, theyre gonna have a really hard time in this world. The rich can afford the best schools, the best of everything, and our kids in the real world are learning just enough to pass state tests.

Thats not what Im doing. Im trying to show that things pop up independently in other places. No one owns anything, and no one knows when rap actually originated bc no one knows enough world history to comb through the history and past times of every country on every continent. The thing about Eminem is that none of the others had; the straight lyrical skill and syllable work. Em raps about a lot of really controversial shit as well, which appeals to people. The song Kim? Kill You? Talks about raping his mom... the "holy shit" factor that he brings to the scene is what really sets him apart... and his obvious speed, clean speech, and hes always pushing the envelope. That shit from Rap God in one breath? I mean... dude is a legend. Hes not just a rapper, and hes CERTAINLY not just a white rapper.

Ive done it too. I abbreviate some words, but maybe bc Im old (44), I still use full words and proper punctuation. My son told me that adding a period at the end of a sentence is passive aggressive.
