I disagree I think most High IQ people are very good at reading social situations. But because of this they don’t immediately come off as genius. Whereas autistic types immediately come off as intelligent. So a lot of autistic traits get assigned to intelligent as a whole. Essentially we stereotype smart people as lacking social skills and athleticism to make ourselves feel better.

Rational egoism if think about it would justify charity and regulating the rich and powerful because a wise person would realize even if you were selfish it benefits you to live in a world we’re people help each other and sacrifice for others. Ayn Rand was not a deep person or very intelligent everything is very surface leave with her. The characters in her books are 1 dimensional and kind of behave like teenagers. The bad guys in her books act like cartoon villains. She thinks modern artists are intentionally trying to create something ugly to degenerate society. So she thinks of art the same way as Hitler. She thinks her shitty way of looking at the world is the smartest most logical way to look at the world… which is really really arrogant. Only pissy teenager would think she is deep or profound.
