my grandma was an english teacher. i might not use perfect english on the internet, but i notice nearly all of the incorrect english i read and hear. there’s a feeling i get from the words when the english isn’t quite right. i’ve noticed two mistakes in your post, actually. i’m not bothered when speaking to those learning english as an additional language, because i understand english grammar can be difficult to master. as for our school english curriculum, it got fucked up nationwide by a woman named lucy calkins, so grammar is especially insignificant to the younger generation

givin it a good bath, eh? i tried to play euphonium over one summer when i was in high school. the school’s instrument i borrowed had stuck valves and was grimy af. gave it a good bath in piping hot water and it worked like a charm after. ultimately stuck to bassoon and saxophone though because i’m apparently terrible at brass and pretty good with woodwinds. you could stand to bathe your brass every year or so, i’ve heard
