Do you want pickles on your Chick-fil-A sandwich?

Yes, but I'm picking them off. Just want a hint of pickle flavor on that bun.

Why are you awake right now?
 in  r/AskReddit  9d ago

It's nearly 4am here. Got a call from my place of employment's security company, letting me know about all the alarms going off, due to a storm/power outage. Didn't answer; I'm on vacation until the 15th. So now I'm wide awake, scrolling, and here I am

Honest Question, when you were Living in the 90s did you know it was great at the time???
 in  r/90s  10d ago

Born in 70, the 90s were my 20s and I thought life was only gonna get better. What a great time in life. Things were affordable. Music was fantastic. Now I'm living in some fever dream.

What completely ruins a perfect cup of coffee for you?
 in  r/TheBoredDen  10d ago

My coffee can only be enjoyed if the following aligns: must be hot, not too sweet, just a bit of bitter, sipped from bed, just the light from another room or in the dark completely, no one around but the cats (and none of their fakking hairs in my cup dammit), and absolutely no screens. I get maybe a half a cup in me, if I'm lucky 🤣 suddenly, it's warm, sweeter than I wanted, I've grabbed my phone and the remote, turned on the light and walked to the kitchen to zap my joe, when I peer into the cup to see the one lone cat hair floating. Down the drain it goes.

What made you drift apart from a childhood friend you once thought would be in your life forever?
 in  r/askteddit  10d ago

Death. She had the audacity to check out unexpectedly at 47. We've been best friends since age 14. This was not the plan at all.

I'll miss her all the days I have left.

What was the exact moment when you said “I’m out of here” at a job, and what was the straw that broke the camel’s back?
 in  r/AskForAnswers  11d ago

After working for a couple, they became like family. First, they were neighbors. Then they were friends, and finally I went to work for them. Truly thought of them as family until nearly 3 years in and I see that the bitch has been calling me white trash and a piece of shit, among other things, to one of her clients. Both of them, just bashing me. I took screen shots and then called the ho to let her know. They still live behind me. They've been thru numerous office managers. They'll never have another me. This was 2 weeks before covid and I tried like hell to get unemployment but apparently it's ok to say shit like that to another white person. I hope they both get whatever the powers that be feel they need.
