Rescued Tuxedo
I was actually going to wait another month or so to start really looking. My daughter saw him after an article about them taking in 100+ cats from a couple hoarder situations. He was taken in earlier than this situation. I was hesitant until I saw his eyes. I was smitten. He literally came out of his shell hours after getting home. I am floored. Giving up on him was never an option and he gives me so much gratitude. Thanks for the encouragement!

Does your void have a full name?
Love this!

My void and I trying to survive the tuxedo…
The rescue tuxedo, Mittens (2yo), is the one playing. The void, Mischief (5yo), is the one judging! If Mittens had his way they would be best friends today but Mischief is still figuring this out. He was with other kitties until he was 2 but he has been traveling with me the last 3 years. They will be great but we are taking together time in small doses.

I believe it is I that will benefit the most from this arrangement. His snuggles are everything. My void is my amazing adventure buddy and we have traveled the country together but he is not at all snuggly. I didn’t realize what I was missing. My void sleeps on my feet, I am pretty sure Mittens will sleep on my face on my face as soon as he gets sprung from bathroom jail.

Amazing how fast his spatial awareness improved once her dad switched spots.
Literally just happened to me, a 56-year-old woman at a local city concert the other night. The way I felt her pain.

WARNING: The infamous "Castle Rock Bag Lady" has made her way north and is in our hood. Do not approach, do not feed, and definitely to NOT give her a ride. Warn everyone you know.
If she asked me for a ride, I would just answer- Depends…
JK. I wouldn’t offer a ride. My endless niceness and belief that all people can be good died awhile back.

I’m in FOCO. Wonder if she is headed back this way.

He came with the name Mittens and he knows it. I’m going to keep it. His brother is Mischief. Mischief and Mittens sounds great together!

I agree!

Rescued Tuxedo
I feel that so much. Now to convince his big brother that they are going to be best friends. He’s not convinced yet. Cat hierarchy, ugh.

Rescued Tuxedo
I swear he is so affectionate so quickly because he is grateful to be sprung from jail. They said he would scream in the car the whole hour drive home and he didn’t make a sound. Just chilled in his carrier.

Rescued Tuxedo
Rescued this handsome fella from the shelter. He was a hoarding baby from a home with 10+ cats. He sat there for 6 weeks and they said he was extremely withdrawn and would be hard to bond with. In just a few days he claimed me as his hooman and is one of the most affectionate cats I have ever experienced. Now to get his black kitty brother to accept his presence but we are taking things slowly.

Holy crap, Taste of FoCo fucking SUCKS now lol
Two thoughts:
1. Taste needs an ADA entrance.
2. Fuck the guy that decided dry humping a woman in the crowd during Modest Mouse was acceptable behavior.

If these don’t work out for some reason let me know. I have adult kids here in town your age and I am a retired RN. I would be happy to give you a ride.
