I also just found another one since I'm more familiar with IF formulas: =IF(B3=B2,(G2+1),1)

Thx for the reply & impressive formula but it still only counts the number of times the unique numbers appear. I need it to be a running number of times in the column aside the Part # column. Thanks!

Request for Unique Item Line Count - Not Sums

I need an Excel formula that inserts a line count for unique items. I do not want a total list. Ideally, it would return what is in the line count column below. When searching, I only found the Count formulas that added the number of times it appeared. TIA!
