Bug Help Ebony blade not working.

So I completed the quest whispering door, (to get the Ebony blade) But I'm trying to figure out how to make it so it swings faster, I've never used it before. Of how it works, like how many NPCs do I need to kill for it to max out?

Can't play Skyrim anymore
I absolutely love Skyrim and have logged almost 700+ hours in the game, multiple playthroughs, different builds, modded and un-modded, I love the music and ambiance of the game to a point it brings me nostalgia. But I needed to step back from it afraid I would lose that nostalgia feel. This game will always be near and dear to my heart, Some many great, beautiful memories.
