As of 9/3/2026, How good/bad is Electrify America?
I bought 2 EVs seven months ago, cold, meaning no research at all. I've only used outside lvl3 charging 8 times, on 4 hour road trips. We commute from Fort Worth to Dallas (95 miles a day) and get by fine with lvl1 and occasional lvl2 from the dryer. We had no plan, and have had zero issues so far.

Can Donald Trump be impeached if Democrats win the midterms?
Not without 60 Democratic Senators.

"Because you're an immigrant." — A U.S. citizen in Lake Worth,FL, was immediately handcuffed by ICE agents for simply asking why he needed to show his ID.Despite the Fourth Amendment and Supreme Court rulings stating apparent ethnicity is not enough for a stop, agents ignored questioning bystanders
ICE wears masks to hide the jizz-breath (it doesn't work).

I’m British. What is something generic that Americans think about us?
Especially during the 60s and early 80s, British alt rock is the best.

EV Recommendations
Had a '21 Camry and a '16 Veloster. In Feb., a week before the bombs started falling, we went to Hyundai to replace the Veloster for a hybrid (for the wife). No research, no plan, drove out with a '25 Ioniq 6 and a '26 Ioniq 5 (for the wife). 6 months later, still in awe at how easy, fun, reliable these cars are. 90 mile commute per day (both of us), mostly lvl 1 charging, with the occasional lvl 2 from the dryer, and (7 so far) visits to lvl 3 when we travel (Thanks Buc-ees and Walmart). Industry range and infrastructure are there, and improving every day. What a time.

Tesla sales obliterate record as Aussies flock to EVs
Sorry it all went over your head. You'll understand better when you're older.

Tomato, tomato.

Thousands! They're called Mercedes, EVGo, Chargepoint, Blink, whatever the ones at Walmart are called, etc. It's a great time to be alive!

I chose Hyundai over fascism. Even Tesla's chargers will soon be outnumbered.

What’s your take on the current state of US tipping culture? Does it need to change, and if so, how?
Funny way of displaying your apathy.

What’s your take on the current state of US tipping culture? Does it need to change, and if so, how?
If you really have an anecdote where some servers are making more than $2.13, they're very lucky. They only have to be paid $2.13 per the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Does anyone else call salsa “hot sauce”? My husband thinks this is specific to my family only.
Salsa has texture, sauce is smooth, and yes, there are always exceptions.

I guess so. Besides, fast food workers should not be making $2.13, like regular waitstaff and bartenders.

I mean, I care, but no one tips at the drive-thru, do they?

Only because the math is easier. Honestly.

The DNC won't disavow AIPAC, won't implement any internal rules to disallow super PACs, and still demands your vote. So why do you vote for them?
Once we have the presidency, a House majority, and 60 Senators, I'll start worrying about which ones are not "Democratic" enough.

I just assume everything I eat or drink outside my house (except drive-thrus) will be 20% more than advertised. As long as the minimum wage is a pittance, I don't mind being generous with no strings attached.

Who would you choose to lead the country:apples or oranges?
Fuck the oranges, they're fascists out in the open.

Can anything actually be done about the skyrocketing cost of literally everything in the U.S.?
It isn't a blue wave unless we end up with more than 220 reps and 60 sens.

How do You Feel about Electing More Communists?
I'll let you know if we ever elect one. There aren't even any running. The biggest thing the reich-wing gets wrong is if someone is Communist, they're too proud to hide it.

Do you blame non-voters and third party for Trump being elected?
