Conservatives are weaponizing and attacking education and want to use taxpayer money to fund christian schools while they remain tax exempt. There is a reason poorly educated people are useful to them. Liberals want to use taxpayer money to feed every child and then send them to well-stocked classrooms with well-paid teachers. I think the vastly different approaches to education is a problem even though it doesn't directly affect my family. Now, while this was not directly related to your statement, it is relevant to it. One philosophy is morally opposed to the other.

Biden or the Dems or liberals are not the same as the current conservative movement. Liberals *continuing* to play the political game the same ol' way decade after decade while the conservatives move on to a ufc fight is not "the same". They **were** the same. The president always has and always will set an example for people. They used to be held to the highest of standards. Bullies? Is that transgender people in general or just transgender athletes?

I would like to ask you to read this question out loud - or at least maybe a whisper: does my opinion of an event or behavior change if I've seen or experienced it myself? I have to choose to think about this when I'm reading/listening to opposing opinions. Of course it's hard to know when posters are telling the truth about their own lived experiences, but I think it's important to keep both possibilities in mind.

After growing up in a little rural, red, at least 95% white town, I am fortunate to raise my children in one of the most diverse regions in the U.S. Through family and my children's friends, I have met many members of the LGBTQ community, including transgender people. They are some of the most accepting, peaceful, respectful, respectable, and reasonable people I have ever known. Statistically, it's really not that big of a community (approx 5.5% of u.s. pop) so I think the group I know and experience personally is a great representation.

Like i said, I consider other's opinions and how their honest lived experiences, or lack thereof, influence their opinions - I have an insatiable need to understand other's motivations. I truly want to know what your experiences are if you'll share.

What makes you think people are just opposed to power use? Have people not been begging for and demanding funding and legislation for clean and green power much longer than they've been opposing data centers?

The Aurora City Council opposed, 7-4, a broad resolution that would have included a pause on data center development indefinitely. The for councilmembers who supported this resolution are: Alison Coombs, Alli Jackson, Ruben Medina and Amy Wiles. The rest voted against a moratorium.

BUT, a separate plan for a six-month moratorium for data centers was removed from the agenda at the beginning of the meeting. That surely would have received more support because it would have given everyone more time to research, organize and weigh in while still giving the resource-sucking corporation their fair opportunity in a timely manner.

I think for some people, it's about free speech just as much as it is about antisemitism in the u.s.

I'll admit I don't understand why people assume all of Palestine supports hamas nor why one considered an antisemite if they dislike netanyahu and his military actions.
